The Pied Piper of Hamelin (Minedition Minibooks)

I've been gathering copies of books which Lizbeth Zwerger illustrated for my great niece. Can't go wrong. Lovely book.

Wouldn't have bought this book if I had seen it first. Pictures are broken up. Sentences are abrupt and story seems out of order, seems to be missing pages. I am disappointed and really feel like I wasted my money.

Over the years I have read several versions of The Pied Piper of Hamelin, this one may be my favorite. The dark illustrations fit this twisted tail well; I especially love the faceless Piper. The afterward is fantastic, giving some background history on this Grimm-tale, its various endings and the possible metaphor of the rats representing the plague.

Terrible translation! Waste of money.

I was searching for 'The Pied Piper of Hamelin' by Lisbeth Zerger to use in school. I found it and there was a kindle edition so I bought on 1 click. That way I could plan lessons immediately. When I actually looked, this version is completely different and not by her at all. Very misleading, Amazon.

Good packaging. Book just as described. Thanks

My 5 year old loved it and keeps coming back to it again and again, great balance between the text and the pictures per page for a starting reader.
