John Deere GY20067 GY22172 Genuine OEM Flat Idler 100 series LA L D 42" 48" deck

This pulley is specified to fit a LA115 deck. It doesn't. It is very close to the original, and it came in a sealed plastic bag labelled John Deere, but it is slightly different size than the original OEM (circa 2008) pulley. The overall height is about 3/32" greater than the original, and that is enough to cause an interference with the bracket that holds the pulley. It can probably be made to work with some grinding of the bracket, the bracket is fairly thick, but avoiding this kind of problem is why you pay a premium for OEM parts. For this fit, I could have saved some money.

I put this on in about 20 minutes I did not take deck off could not get old one off even with puller.So I sprayed it with WD 40 and after 2 minutes funny cracking sounds started sure enough that WD 40 was loosing it a little at a time till I heard the pop and I knew it came loose.

I bought this idler replacement for my John Deere d110 and it was exactly what i needed. The part was exactly the same as the original and at a great price. The hardware stores in my area had a similar idler at almost double the cost. Product arrived on time and well packaged.

I've had several of the idler pulleys on my mower deck go out over the years. This one needed replacing and this was a perfect fit and seems to be good quality.
