Amazing Coachella Medjool Dates, 5 Pounds

These are delicious - until you bite into one that is full of black hairy mold! Seems like they were fine on top and the bottom layer is very much molded and inedible.

I purchased these dates based on the enthusiastic reviews and compared them to two other Medjool date brands that I currently have - organic Medjool Dates from Costco and from Whole Foods.The Coachella dates are equivalent to the Whole Foods dates, and are less expensive. The Costco dates are far superior to the dates from Coachella / Whole Foods, and are significantly less expensive at $5.50 per lbs. So, if you have access to a Costco- buy your dates there. If not, these are acceptable.

I read SOOOOOO man reviews on dates on Amazon. Thanks guys for leaving so much feedback. We love love love the dates from our local big box bulk store, but can't get them online and don't like driving 2 hours just for dates. So I looked online and read the horror stories. This company seemed to have less of the bad stories and I liked the price and that they were organic, so we tried and were SOOOO happy. Moist, bug free, tasty, sweet, perfect. Glad I bought 2 though, because even though they were shipped to us in the exact same box at the exact same time, one of the tubs was dirty and the seal was broken. It looked like it was forgotten a long time in a dirty ware house. The other tub was perfect. Amazon made it right since they are the fulfillment on it. So if you order, check your tubs right away. Great great great dates though. Highly recommended.

I am an avid date lover, and have purchased dates from many different sources.The very first step that I always take is to sort the just purchased dates into two containers. One for the perfect specimen of a true luscious, beautiful date -- and another container for the less than perfect dates used for various recipes to be whirled around in my Vita-Mix.For the first time ever...my second container for rejects that were imperfect, squished or simply too mushy -- remained empty. Not one single date from my very first on-line date order from Coachella, failed the test! Every single date was perfect, and I am happy to announce that I will be making all future date purchases from Coachella!Thank you, Coachella and"Happy New Year!"You will be hearing from me again, and again and again!!!

Opened the box and the container of dates was open and 4 of them were loose in the box... not happy! And apparently I can’t return or exchange them!

Our Amazing Coachella Dates arrived and are the most delicious dates we have ever tasted. Plump, Soft, with a Rich Flavor and Texture, these are definately Medjools, long considered the Queen of date varietals and increasingly rare. A real treat.

I really have tried all brands, these are the uttermost, size and freshness.

I've never been a fan of dates but needed some fir a recipe... turns out I've just never had good dates before. These are so soft and delicious. There wasn't a bad date in the whole box. I will order again for sure!
