I have been GF/SF for nearly 5 years. I’d given up any chance of “bread” like snacks long ago. I’ve started noticing a lot more snacks catered to folks like myself recently. I bought a bunch of different ones from Amazon recently and these were one of my splurges. I’m really glad I tried them!I haven’t gotten to try all the flavors yet, but so far they’re really good! Keep in mind I haven’t eaten grains, gluten, or sugar in 5 years so my tastebuds are used to a different experience. They are extremely sweet! I hadn’t expected that. The texture reminds me of zucchini bread? It’s very dense, sweet, fine crumb, with lots of flavor.I’ve had the blueberry, banana-nut, and the cherry almond so far. The blueberry is my favorite so far. It reminds me of a blueberry muffin. I’ve been eating these every few days with my morning coffee. They are just the perfect snack size to break my fast without killing my guts.I bought a lot of different “keto” type snacks in my recent order, and I have to say, this was my favorite of all the goodies.

This Banana Nut cake is unbelievable!I never dreamed a keto dessert could taste so AWESOME.Great banana flavor, very moist, with great mouth feel, and real pieces of nut.If you are on a keto diet, your mind will be blown.If you are not on a keto diet, these may be a little less sweet than the full force of flavor expected from a full fat and sugar banana nut bread.The packaging of this keto dessert is also beyond what I expected.The individual cakes are wrapped in a thicker than normal plastic wrapper, with a semirigid support board underneath the cake.I discovered these cakes while I was searching for a replacement for another brand of keto dessert.The keto dessert I was replacing had such poor wrappers, that I had to call Amazon and get a refund, because 5 out of 12 of them were unsealed and stale. Other dessert flavors from that same company arrived crumbled, because there was no support to maintain the integrity of the dessert.IMHO this wrapper and support board is exactly what is needed to keep theses cakes intact.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I will say, I didn't care for these the first time I had them. I really like them now. There is a bit of an after taste with them that I can't quite figure out, but not enough to prevent me from eating them. These are worth a try if you're looking for a low carb, moist, cakey snack. And it's excellent that they offer the variety pack so you can decide which is your favorite!

First off, the product is expensive for a snack at over $3 per piece but I was willing to pay that if it did indeed taste like the blueberry cake I've been missing so badly. Opening the package, the smell is very strongly blueberry so that was nice but biting it, that flavor just doesn't come through. The texture is very mealy and oily which was ok, but does detract from the "cake" illusion. On the upside, it does leave you pretty full for being a snack cake with all the oil involved. In short, I'd eat one if offered but I wouldnt purchase again without a significant price drop.

NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.. I bought the multi pack and so far I have tried the Blueberry, pineapple mango and peanut butter. They all have this feeling when biting in like there is sand in it. You expect cake to be moist and soft not grainy. Also they all have had spots where the item wasn't mix enough and it's like biting into a flour ball when you mess up real cake.. I don't even want to try the rest I would rather spend my carbs on pork rinds and peanut butter than this crap.(((((UPDATE))))I was so annoyed when I tried the Banana Nut Cake that I took photos and am doing an update. The cake... tastes like NOTHING.. EGG NOTHING.. it is moist but weird texture and all I get is the taste of egg... I would rather eat just an egg...

I have been on a no sugar, no fat and, no starch HCG Diet for 2 months. My weakness, is baked goods. I love bread, cake, tortillas, muffins, cookies...you get the idea. So, in order to be successful on this diet and in my new way of eating FOREVER, I have been desperately seeking options that are healthy and still give me that oh so yummy satisfaction of a baked item. NUSH IS MAGICAL! I've only tried 2 flavors so far but with each of them I wanted to cry, I was so happy!!! Totally acceptable on my new eating plan and totally satisfying! Thank you!!! They are a bit pricey but when you look at the ingredients, it makes sense. Thank you! I heard you used to have a lemon poppyseed flavor, hoping that will make it's way back into production. :)

I've ordered these little cakes twice now (after liking a sample in one of the keto boxes I get monthly) and have really been enjoying them. Now, to be honest, I don't have much of a sweet tooth and rarely am one to eat cake (even before keto), but oddly things like carrot cake, banana bread, and blueberry muffins were something I *did* enjoy occasionally -- so, the flavor combo of this variety case is perfect for me.Now, I'm not sure how closely these cakes resemble their full-sugar cousins, as again, they weren't something I ate very much in the past, but I do love the taste of these Nush cakes specifically, myself. At a guess, I think they're likely not as sweet as some other confectionery, so be warned about that, but I like things that aren't very sweet so that's perfect for me. YMMV.Still, I would definitely recommend giving these a try, as I think they make a great on-the-go snack or easy breakfast item and I hope to keep ordering more to enjoy.
