Pacon Remnant Yarn Pack, 5 Lb.

Ive purchased the mystery yarn twice as its fun to reveal for my blog (I blog about yarn & embroidery).Both times I received a huge box of acrylic yarns- 3-4 colors. Except for some chenille, all the yarns had a mohair likeness. My first batch was all the black, white & pink mohair with a bunch of gold chenille. My second batch contained a large quantities of aqua & beige mohair and a massive amount of slinky medium blue chenille. I use yarn for stitching and the mohair and chenille yarns both fit well with the needles I use. When ya stitch as much as I do, you do use what's on hand and these acrylic mohair in seemingly neverending supply , isn't bad to have on hand. I would recommend to needleart beginners to use to practice with before buying the high end stuff . One skein of gorgeous wool(Hedgehog fibers or MadelineTosh) can set ya back $38. If you are a fiber artist like me, it's worth checking out. You can always donate what you don't think you'll use to a crochet club, school or senior center.

About 5 different colors. Different textures too. For example fizzy soft lace weight beige with neon blue glitter bits through it, olive shiny green upholstery type fiber , thin white acrylic like for baby things or creating stuffed toys . I also have fuzzy chenille types great for making fuzzy teddy bears, in blue ,black, and brown. I'm excited about this product. The only (literal) snag, is sometimes there's a big knot to unravel. I like to make tidying messed up skeins into a game. Big smiles here. Totally recommend if u like working with thin yarn!In any case, you will either love what you get or hate it. I'm thankful returns are easy. I've ordered it several times now and had to return it now and then, but happy with replacements. Sometimes it's the type or the color or too tangled to work with . Most of the time the colors and textures are varied. I'm happy for those ones!

What I expected was yarn remnants as described but what I received was jute string! Stiff and rough string made for outdoor use not for making anything indoors except maybe a throw rug. Definitely not something you would want against your skin. The description should be changed to be more accurate.

These remnants are single-plys, it's almost seems like when the plant is manufacturing the yarn and there is a jam when plying a worker cuts the jam off puts it in a bag then they sell it. It's very tightly tangled with multiple plys and colors intertwined. Not good value.

Bag full of hard rough twine not yarn and not acrylic yarn. In picture is teal 100% acrylic yarn mine I had next to is my bag full of twine. Very disappointing! Amazon bad show! If you want twine this is your buy!

the one time i didnt read reviews...my bad.this is string, not yarn. lots of it, but no idea what to do with it...

This stuff is more like string or twine.Very hard.We will never buy from these guys again.We should've looked at the reviewsSeller says: Material 100% Acrylic YarnNoIt does not melt

Was a tangled mess. Still trying to untangle it but is duable. I didnt like the fact that i got pieces only 2in. long mixed in with it.

I am very disappointed. These are not yarn remnants as pictured. They are complete balls of something similar to crochet cotton, very thin. Not at all what I had in mind when I read the description, looked at picture and placed my order!
