Talon Barbell Collar

I bought these clamps because my new gym does not have but 2 pair. I wanted something portable and effective. These work perfectly and the magnetic feature is awesome. Use on deadlift and rows for example and they hold strong.

I never felt the need to use the clamping mode (where you pull the tab over the little hook, I ony used them in "slap on" mode.They are fantastic. If you use collars you HAVE to try these... so much faster to use than anything else.100% recommended

I really wanted these to work. I CrossFit and the spring clamps don’t do a great job of keeping the weights in place when dropping the barbell. Not only do these NOT stay in place, they don’t “hook” very well, so I would waste a lot of time trying to get the “nubs” to stay in the holes.On the positive side. For simple lifts without dropping the bar they do well (bench, shoulder press, etc). They don’t take much room in your bag and the magnetic feature is really nice so you can stick them to the rack or barbell while changing weights.So … not a total loss, but I wish they worked out better for CrossFit workouts.

These are magnetic slap-band stoppers. There's also a claw at the end if you feel you need extra protection from sliding off. The only thing I was not happy with was they are too big for the PRx wall storage racks. Was hoping to use these on there to prevent the weights slipping off in an earthquake. But they do work well on the bar they were designed for.

Great little piece of equipment. Light and just the right size. Fits on the bar incredibly easy!

Sleek, easy to use quick on and off. Keeps plates were they need to be. Won’t weigh down your gym bag.

Bought these for use with my REP Fitness Gladiator MX Barbell with standard sleeve diameter. These collars just don't hold. When you pull the claw over the tabs it quickly slips off. Even if you just hook the claw over the tabs just sit there for a second and you can watch it slip right off. So when using these you are just relying on the magnetic strip to hold the plates in place. I was hopeful initially, but just can't recommend these collars.

These are amazing! They work very well, I have not had an issue with them slipping. When I'm done I just slap them on the rack since they are magnetic. Will buy another pair.
