A couple of weeks in and my brother's dog hasn't destroyed it yet.
My brother has a young Mountain Cur a little over a year old who seems to tear up any toy he can get his hands on. Firehose toys, he rips at the seams, stuffed animals, he has the floor covered in fluff, etc...Well, one day, my phone managed to hear me talk about dog toys tearing up and because Facebook uses the mic in this manner to recommend ads, I got an ad for bullymake boxes. I didn't want to spend 40 dollars on a box, so I started looking at the toys from previous boxes and came across the USA K-9 grenade. Saw that they have different colors that have different durability ratings, so I tried looking for a black grenade, couldn't find a standalone treat holder grenade in Black Ops Rubber, just these with the ropes attached. Ended up buying this one and gave it to him. My brother told me that he'd probably end up flailing it by the rope and hitting himself with it. Well, for a while, he didn't. He'd chew to his heart's content and not leave very much marking in it. One day, however, he did grab it by the rope and start shaking it like he would a squirrel, and he shook it hard enough that the rope dislodged from the grenade, temporarily turning it into a projectile. Luckily it hit their fireplace and not a tv or some glass decorations or anything of that sort. That's one thing you should take note of, hopefully your dog doesn't play in the same room with a bunch of breakable objects if they do this kind of thing. That's our story with it.If you're wanting a summarized review, here's what I'd give.Durability 9/10 - that rope detaching from it took away a point, but if it were on just the rubber grenade, I'd give it a perfect score.Aesthetic 10/10 - I thought this looked very detailed for a dog toy in this price range.Appealing to pet/entertaining 10/10. - He gets a kick out of how unpredictable the bounce is on this toy.Safety 7/10 - rope can come off if flung around enough, leaving a washer rattling inside of it.Price 9/10 - This particular size has a good price, but the next size up (which I wanted to buy) is almost 20 dollars. I'm glad I purchased this one instead of the XL one, though because it fits my brother's dog's mouth just fine.Overall 9/10 - considering this dog can tear up near about any toy in under an hour, I'm impressed with the quality to price ratio. I'd definitely buy another one when this one gets to the point to where it's a choking hazard for him.

JUST BE CAREFUL...Don't leave your pet alone
Our 70 pound lab loves any new toy. He likes to toss it around and retrieve it and then chew on it for a few minutes, then toss it again if we are not playing tug a war. It looks like it's a durable product that will last, but I wouldn't leave your pet alone with it for any amount of time. I was just in the other room for a minute and noticed that our lab had gotten one loop of it "stuck" on his front paw as he chewed on the other loop. As I walked towards him to help him out of it, he tried to get up and did a face plant since one leg was trapped in the loop. I could also see a dog freaking out in that situation thinking they were stuck and getting hurt as they tried to "escape" the entrapment situation. I know the toy is meant for tug a war, so we will put it away, out of reach until we are playing tug of war.

Very Durable. Dog loves to chew on it and to Chase it. Made in USA.
The firecracker toy is very, very durable, like a big Kong toy. But, unlike many of the latest Kong toys, this one is Made in USA. one nifty feature is that if you roll the 'firecracker' on a flat surface, the rope "fuse" flails around wildly and is irresistible to a dog.

The toy is durable, not the rope
I got this on a recommendation from a K9 officer. The toy itself is destructible but the rope is not. My GSD loves this toy but destroys the rope. I’ll get another and pay more attention when he has the rope.

Super durable
This is an amazing toy, my dog will destroy any toy we give him in a matter of days or weeks if we are lucky. It has been a year since I've given this toy to my dog and although he doesn't use it all the time it is still in great condition.

My Staffy cross loves this
This is my dogs favourite toy, she always chooses it from her box of toys. It has lasted well so far with daily tugging sessions. It’s not show signs of wear. I haven’t let her just sit and chew it as she might be able to chew through it eventually. I’d recommend this as a good tugger toy.

Not for small pups but they will love it later stages
Edited. At about 6 months and considering medium size breed she loves to play with this. As with any toy give it some time for them to get used to. Highly recommended as it does not start disintegrating with all the chewing and tight grip in mouth for tuggingInitial reviewProbably best suited for adult large breed dogs. Nothing pup about this. My large breed pup barely plays with it as it’s too heavy to hold in the mouth.Edited - now she loves it. At 6 months she brings it around to indicate playtime. Not for a small dog still. Worth it and like any other toy give it some time

Crap Product
My Dog ate through the hole in about 2 seconds (and he is a little puppy). So the purpose for the product was useless as you can not put treats inside to keep them entertained. Seller would not refund because they said it was still useable.DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
