Super Science Concoctions: 50 Mysterious Mixtures for Fabulous Fun (A Kids Can!) Paperback – August 24, 2007

I got this for my daughter who is 3. We can do some of the projects now and wait for some until she is older. I like that we can talk about why the experiment works and it can be done with easily obtained materials. I might loan it to my mom who teaches a summer school course about "fun science" I think her elementary aged kids will really like it too.

My 6 year old love this book, lot of cool experiments and best of all you probably already have all 99% of the material. Two items that are used a lot are plaster of Paris and powered paint. Get them and your ready for anything your child may pick out.The make your own sidewalk chalk is great, the chalk works better than the stuff you buy.

I used this last year for my daughter's 1st grade science. It definitely made the day fun. Some of the material was over her head, but i loved that because it can be revisited as she gets a little older. The experiements, though were fun, and probably her favorite part of the whole school year!

Gifts for little kids and their parents this Xmas. The parents loved the book.

I love this series of books. We homeschool through hands on activities and this book has a lot of wonderful information and activities for my little scientists... They love concoctions! I want all of them. For real.

I would return this book if I could (we missed the return window). I was very disappointed by the lack of interesting experiments. I felt like most of what is included I could of (or have already!) found on Pinterest. Everything in this book I have already seen in a million of kids science experiment books. They are for the K-1 group at best, kids over 7 will be BORED. Usborne makes a more interesting version of this book, if it's what you are looking for :)

I was rather disappointed in this book. I was looking for a bit more "scientific" lessons but these are more just fun things to do with kids.

This is a great resource for preschoolers interested in science; even suited for elementary schoolers interested in chemistry and how it works. 'Fun activities with real, but simple explanations.
