Not worth it -- there are other better quality tea infusers at the same price point
The teapot is alright. It works as a tea infuser sure, but the main features I bought this teapot for don't work. The issues:- Durability is not great - when you fill the pot even a little more than halfway and then try to lift with the handle, the plastic black part detaches from the glass and makes carrying the teapot very precarious. You have to hold it with both hands but because there's hot water in there, that isn't actually possible.- The plunger doesn't fit well in the strainer. The whole point of the plunger is that I should be able to push the tea leaves all the way down and stop the steeping process. But there is a lot of gap between the plunger and walls of the strainer so steeping doesn't stop. In addition, THERE ARE HOLES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STRAINER WHICH DEFEATS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF HAVING A PLUNGER AND STOPPING THE STEEPING PROCESS!! If I'd known this was the case, I would've just bought a better quality teapot infuser that didn't have the plunger.Not really worth it and there are better quality teapots at the same price level. I would've returned it but missed the return window.
