Boye Anodized Aluminum Metal Knitting Needle Set, 6pc, US Sizes 6'' - 8''

I never knitted before and bought these because they have 3 different sizes, and 7,8,9 are pretty standard sizes according to what I’ve read. I started knitting a scarf and I like these needles, they are light and pleasant to use, and look nice too.

I love the weight and color of these needles. I previously had a set which were all the same steel color, and I'd have to read the tiny print label to make sure the size I had was the right size. I have no such problem with these needles. If you want to start knitting this is the size set for you. They're affordable, and in the most frequent sizes you will probably use if you're just starting out.

These were brilliant. The colors the length. Even my 7 year old can use it. We love the clicekty clack of the needle while knitting. Reminds me of my mom and her mom sitting around knitting all day long. I prefer these to the wooden ones.

Only 4 stars because one of my needles was missing. Otherwise woukd have been 5.

I got these for my younger sister and she loves them. Made a great birthday gift. She says they're easy to use and comfortable to hold.

You're probably better off getting bamboo needles -- they're more sustainable anyway. These aluminum ones were so slippery that my stitches kept falling off. I ended up putting a layer of masking tape on them and that definitely helped, but it was a hassle. Otherwise, good needles for the cheap price.EDIT: So, I ended up getting bamboo needles in the same size and ended up preferring these aluminum ones annyway. The bamboo needles, while less slippery, were too rough and hard to smoothly move the stitches along the needle. The aluminum needles with a layer of masking tape was the best bet for me. Revising my review from 4* to 5*.

Got this set for knitting dishcloth dresses. I have many sets of needles, but they’re 14”, and these work very nicely for smaller craft knitting. I should add that I have never been a “crafter”, I love to knit sweaters. Taking a slightly different path at the moment. 😁

These needles were shorter than I expected, only 10 inches in length and would be great for small projects or young children learning to knit. Great price and value. It was my mistake in not reading the details correctly and assuming the length would be standard "adult" size length, however when I contacted Amazon to return I was issued a refund. Great customer service. I'll donate them to an after school program so hopefully some young kids can enjoy and learn to knit.

Las agujas tienen un acabado perfecto, vienen en 3 tamaños, 4.25mm/6, 4.5mm/7 y 5mm/8, suficiente punta para jalar las puntadas, son de aluminio anodizado, se ven durables, la pintura no se ha rayado y he terminado un par de proyectos con ellas, son de 25.4cm de largo, asi que no se puede hacer un proyecto muy largo porque no le caben muchos puntos pero en general son muy buena inversion para principiantes
