Yale Door Lock Cover in Black Cast Iron (JAB10)

Just what I needed. Had to change the lock on my edwardian front door. The key hole had to be made larger to reach the new key hole. This left the problem of the large gaping hole. This added that authentic look and was large enough to cover the hole. Have had many compliments. Sturdy and used screws it came with. Heavy cover keeps out the winter drafts. Would recommend. In fact I am going to order another for inside of door too.

Used to put on top of Yale type lock on Old converted church doors. They are as heavily made and robust as the hinges and other existing door furniture.

It just looks so cool. I installed it side ways as my lock and door handle position was bit too close for it to be installed vertically. But! The screw it came with, 2 of them sheared off leaving half the screw inside. I used my own screw for the other 2
