Clubman Shave Butter, Green, 6 Ounce

I use this product for my morning shave. It sets up my beard just fine. You don't need to use much so it lasts a long time, and the fragrance (not overpowering) reminds me of my younger days in a barber shop.

I actually use this as a base layer under my shave cream and love it! My skin is fairly sensitive and this provides extra protection when shaving with my DE safety razor with Feather blades. Smells great (subtle but still has that classic Clubman essence), works well and highly recommended. As an FYI, a little (about the size of a dime) goes a long way.

It was my first time using shave butter, and I was a bit reticent about it because the Shave, butters don’t have any lather. I don’t miss the lather one bit. It actually makes Shaving more of a pleasant experience because the shape of butter protects my skin every bit as well, if not better than shaving cream or gels, but additionally, there is just less cream to wash off of my razor. Every man should try this.

This Shave Butter is more of a shave cream/foam than your typical shave butter. The shave butter's I've used are almost clear and slick/oily, like, butter. This looks more like what would come out of a can, just a little thicker. I got what I would call an average comfortable shave. I prefer Cremo. I placed Cremo in one hand and this Shave Butter in the other, added a little water and the Cremo was noticeably "slicker".

This is a pricey product, but a really nice product that distinguishes itself as the best on the market in my opinion. It provides a rich, moisturizing lather that makes for a smooth shave that leaves the skin comfortable and smelling nice.

I have used this product before and it works great, however it advertises a 3 pack for eighteen dollars and change and they only shipped one. You can buy one for nine dollars.
