Headlight Assembly GFDMT99-G2 Compatible with 99-04 Ford Mustang Replacement Headlamp kit with Black Housing Clear Lens and Driving Light

I ordered one set of these, and they appeared to be a good quality. Even though the rubber along the top edge was damaged, I figured I could live with that I installed them, then waited until nighttime to check for alignment and one of the headlights, the one with the damaged rubber strip, has a very bad reflector. It created a harsh, really bright spot that made it unusable. I decided I'd return the headlights, but opted for a replacement through Amazon and the replacement was worse! I'll be returning both of these sets and trying a different manufacturer.

Replacing weather worn, cracked headlights with these assemblies. The fit was perfect, weather seals match up perfectly and they look very sharp on this car. Ford made removing the light assemblies an absolute breeze, it took literally 10 minutes to swap both out.

I will give full credit on appearance, these headlights looked great. That is until they started getting foggy after a simple car wash. The driver side is worse, the passenger side won't always fog up. Somehow water is getting in there. What a dissappointment. It is too bad my old ones were the 'chrome' type. They NEVER leaked.

Ordered for a friend with a 2004 Mustang Convertible and they were easy for him to put in. He likes them.
