I would recommend this tool for anyone with mobility issues.
My husband uses this as an aid to help him dress. He is wheelchair bound, and dresses laying in bed. He would grab a foot with the loop, pulling it up toward him to grab it and pull on his pants, or put on a shoe. It has been holding up well so far. I was a bit concerned at first, since it didn't seem very rigid, and bends fairly easily. But, it has held up and helped him greatly.

Great tool following hip replacement!
I have a bed that is taller than most and sometimes difficult to get in. I found this leg lifter to be easy to use and very effective at lifting my leg up on to the bed following total hip replacement. It is not difficult to use, even when the room is very dark. It is definitely worth the price for the amount of pain it eliminates getting into bed.

Best accommodation tool we've purchased
My husband had to have hip replacement revision this year, which is when the original replacement prosthesis fails or becomes infected. It's a gruesome, two-surgery ordeal, with a recovery process of about six months, three of which are between the two surgeries. After making great progress with physical therapy using this tool, the second surgery started the process over again. My husband is a big man, 6'2" and about 260 lbs. His leg is heavy to lift when he can't help much using the leg muscles themselves. This tool has allowed him to exercise that leg by helping to lift it.I knocked it down a couple of stars in the sturdiness rating because the wire inside that keeps it rigid tends to twist. At this point, it isn't straight anymore, and it's barely long enough to use for its purpose. But it hasn't broken like other accommodation tools we've purchased, so we're pleased with it and would recommend it.

Easy to use!
I wasn't sure if this would work. I have trouble lifting my legs up on the wheelchair platforms plus lifting them up on my mobility scooter. My biggest and most worrisome problem was getting my legs into the SUV! I have a step stool I use but had so much trouble getting my legs up into the vehicle. Independence from having to constantly having to ask for help, plus "made in America" is what caught my eye with this product. It truly is quality!! Easy to use, keeps me from asking for help all the time and gives me the feeling of more Independence!I can now lift my legs into the SUV all by myself!! I can get into thevwheelchair easier plus my scooter.Thank you for a quality, American made product! I just ordered a second one to keep near my scooter and wheelchair. If you or a person you assist, needs help getting their legs raised, please consider this strap! Now all I need is to figure out how to pick up the step stool after getting into the SUV! I can't reach it!

Not versatile for people with shorter arms.
The stiffness of the strap is good but needs more adjustment for longer or shorter arms.

Works better than expected.
Suffice it to say I have leg issues - knees, hips, allergic reactions... I bought this when I remembered creating a similar aid while in a hospital healing from a broken leg. I had rolled up a thin blanket and twisted it to form a foot-hole so I could lift my broken leg onto a bed without bending it. This Leg Lifter is much easier to pack in luggage for trips, is less flimsy, and there's no prep required. It works extremely well.

Valuable assistive product.
I’m a nurse, and I bought this product for my elderly mother, who fell and broke her hip a couple years ago and never regained her strength. As a nurse, we always want our clients to live as independently as possible. This product allows a person in my mother’s condition to get in and out of her wheelchair by herself, to get in and out of the car nearly unassisted, and it’s not really a burden for her to bring it with her. She just lays it across her walker, or hangs it from her wheelchair where she can reach it. It’s been a great help to her and she really likes it.

Footloop too darn big for female foot
I am handicapped and need a foot loop to lift my leg to get into and out of the car, into and out of bed, etc. This foot loop is so large that my foot does not stay in it. Was not worth the money I paid for this.My original foot loop fits my 6.5 medium sized foot and works very well. When I went to purchase a spare this brand was the only one available. Won’t purchase again.
