Great product
I bought 100 feet. You need to order extra spikes. The height is OK. Would buy again, easy to install. Other's said the spikes broke. I waited to install after a rain so they went in fine. No problems.

Buena solucion.

THIS SAVED MY BACK
I bought this to replace the current edging I have that keeps popping out of the ground. I wanted something that was easy to install and would not require me to dig a trench into the ground. This product did the trick! I would recommend this to anyone that wants something easy, that is done quickly. In less than an hour, I had all my flower beds and walkways edged perfectly - 100 Feet of edging done!My only criticism is that it did not come with enough stakes. 100ft of edging comes with about 12 stakes which is not nearly enough for anything! I had to supplement by purchasing extras. I also wish that the edging was a bit higher. Other than that, it was easy to install with a rubber mallet. It saved my back and knees! This product is a MUST for any older gardeners or those with medical issues as it is fast and requires minimal physical strength.

Much better than metal edging + gotcha's / tips & tricks
We installed this edging last spring around some fruit trees in order to stop grass and weeds from growing under the branches where it is hard to mow with a riding mower. On the positive:* Install was relatively easy (once you unwound the dang thing and got it laid out) although we did dig out the area first.* The edging keeps its shape well (with additional stakes)* It is easy to mow over and doesn't bend when you hit it (like the metal edging does)* The edging, when placed at appropriate height, is virtually invisible. We installed around the remainder of the trees this year.A few things to be aware of:(1) 30 stakes is not enough to maintain a nice curve. We found that 1 stake in every other hole worked well.(2) If you use to edge grass, you will likely still get a few runners that come up underneath since it is only 1.5" deep. We used an electric edger and pulled out any runners we saw in the fall and spring and it seems to be all that is needed.(3) Cutting the edging is difficult. Regular scissors won't do it and neither will garden sheers. We used sheet metal cutters and it was still difficult. Make absolutely sure you have your shape before you begin cutting!Installation tips (learned the hard way!):(1) To get a good curve, cut a piece of cardboard, 3-4ft long, with the curvature appropriate for the diameter of circle you want to create and use as a guide. (The edging is fairly stiff making it imprecise to work with and so using a string to measure and eyeballing for correction does not create a nice circle, no matter what your husband says!) Per above, use additional stakes to keep the shape.(2) Make sure the ground is as flat as possible where you place the edging. If the ground is not perfectly flat, don't push the stakes in too far or the edging will tilt.(3) If you are planning to mow over the edging, the best height for the outside of the edging is slightly below the height of your lawn when it is cut to the length you want. The non-lawn side should also have fill just slightly below the top edge. If the edging is too deep, the grass will grow over the top. If it is too shallow, the mower will hit it.
