Why Mr. Fox What Have You Been Baking?
The baker and his wife made the best gingerbread in town. The gingerbread man got away and laughed and ran all day until he met the fox who ate him all up. The Fox heard a voice from inside "Take me back to the other side. Take me back to where I was baked.". Foxes tummy ached. Fox baked 100 gingerbread man with added Fox hair. What happened to the 100 gingerbread men. What happened to the fox? This is another great fractured fairy tale. They just keep getting better. The illustrations are terrific. The story is memorable. This book will be enjoyed by all ages as a storybook, a team reading book (You read some your kiddo reads some), and a read to you book, you will probably want to know what happens.I borrowed this book on a Kindle Unlimited website and so can you.

Great for prompting students to write alternative endings to stories.

OK but.....
The story itself is OK... I am disappointed that several of the books I received (I ordered 20) the print is run right to the edge of the pages... Out of the 20 - I'd say at least 10 of them were really off on the printing. I've attached a picture of three different pages that are off (so you can see what I mean). I needed the books for a special project and ended up using 7 poorly printed books. I would have returned them if I had more time... I still have three that, perhaps, I can return!

Fun follow on story
I work in a primary school and bought this book initially for world book day. ( dressed as the fox)I them kept the book at school & read it to my SEN children. As they were already familiar with the Gingerbread Man story, the children enjoyed the familiar characters and rhyming text. The story was humerous and encouraged a lot of discussion/ echolalia, allowing all the children to participate.
