Beautiful value homage
Great watch for the price. Using as an interim while saving for the same sub homage in higher quality. No complaints here regarding Tevise. Yes, it is very difficult to wind due to oversized crown guards and bezel. It seems the watch winds manually with the crown guard. Its odd because the rotor doesn't seem to wind while wearing. With that said the watch after manual wind gives me around 36 hours. The watch seconds hand stops at 35 indices almost always after 36 hours have passed. Yes the bezel is clunky and watch should never touch water, although it is a dive watch. Look, for the price of an automatic, all stainless steel, display case back, date complication watch for under 40 dollars, this is a steal. A must have and I have not taken the watch off since I received days ago. It's a beautiful watch. I love bargains and watches that catch my eye from Tevise to my SKX009. Enjoy friends.

Cheap, Really, Really Cheap
Everything about this watch is CHEAP, really CHEAP, from the extremely thin and flimsy tapered bracelet (I hate tapered bracelets), to the non-hacking movement making it impossible to precisely set the time, to the poorly designed crown making it extremely difficlut to either wind this watch or set the date and time, to the loosely rotating bezel. The words on the dial: "Superlative Chronometer, Officially Certified" are lies and meaningless, simply copies of the words on a Rolex watch face --- this watch has never been officially certified to anything (had it been certified, it would have come with certification certificate papers, grossly missing). I began by giving, at first, two stars for the watch, but then after realization that the watch is pretty much falsely claimed, only one star, the lowest possible, is all that it gets. If I could give NO stars, that would better fit this watch. I wish I could find something nice to say about this watch, but I cannot. Truly a "beater" timepiece -- meaning that you should not expect much from this watch, it is one that you would wear to do chores or activities where damage could be certain -- you will not be losing anything except the few dollars spent. When purchasing this watch, I did expect a cheap timepiece that I could wear for working chores without worry of loss, but I did expect a bit more than what is presented. On the plus side, the watch, while new and unused does present an attractive face and look. The colors are good. This watch will probably spend its lifetime in the watchbox with little wear time. It does not deserve much else. Yes, I do have over 50 watches in my collection, from cheap ones, mid-priced ones, to extremely expensive ones, so I do have a good sort for comparison. This watch is at the very bottom of the list.

Aesthetically Pleasing But Lacking In Performance
Visually, the watch looks great. It has the looks of more expensive watches, but unfortunately that is all that is truly going for it. The power reserve for the watch is abysmal and is lucky to reach a couple of hours when not worn and idle. This means that you'll always be adjusting the time when you put in on in the morning if you take it off when you go to bed.Conversely, if you wear the watch all the time, then I believe it may be able to keep relative (not exact) time. If I had bought this to use a functional watch, then I would have definitely returned it as it fails at that task. I was using it as part of a Halloween costume. So, I kept it, and it worked great for that use. All in all, you should view and treat this watch as "costume jewelry."

It’s a 40 dollar automatic watch…
I’ll start with the positives and that is that it isn’t awfully inaccurate. It actually keeps decent time… oh, and the dial isn’t bad looking. Now, for the negatives. The crown is hard to wind, the power reserve is abysmal, it’s heavy and very unsettled on the wrist, it’s the thickest watch I have by far, the chrono wheel feels awful, and I’m sure there’s more. That being said, it’s a 40 dollar watch and I’m unaware of a better mechanical watch at that price (hence the 4 stars). It may even fool some people who have never seen a submariner into thinking it is one. And I think that’s it purpose in life. Why I bought it as well. It is however bigger and thicker with a totally different finish from the real thing.I wouldn’t recommend wasting the 40 bucks. I’ve attached a picture with some of my cheaper watches. The Vostok is literally 10 times the watch for only 2x as much.

Better than expected
When I unboxed it I thought it was rather cheap, however, even though the bracelet is lighter than most of my others the watch excellent in other areas that some of my other higher priced watches fail in. The bezel moves freely...and after constant wearing for 3 days the watch us keeping perfect time. The very best part is out of all of my watches, you can very easily see the numbers and hands in the dark. The best lume of any watch I own.

Updated review 4/26/22
Nice enough looking. Except for the semi legit word salad on the dial. It wasn't keeping time at first. Then, after a couple days, it does pretty good. Maybe the oil in the internals was cold from shipping ? Or something... For the price it's not horrible.Updated 3/13/22 - ok, mine broke today. I tried setting the time ahead and the crown flew out (off) and disappeared. Then the watch just stopped working. Mine was/is total garbage, and now it's actually IN the garbage. Buy at your own risk. For me, this was a complete waste of money.4/26/22 - waste of money. Garbage.

Big but good
Good looking watch but too big for my 6.75” wrist.

Faulty
Disappointed, the watch is a very nice design, however when I changed the time and date on the watch, it stopped working. I don't understand this and am pretty sure it is something to do with the manufacturer, faulty watch, would avoid.
