Good reception, modify mount hardware
Given our home's location I needed an antenna that could reach South East and North West, both approximately 50 miles as the crow flies. I installed the unit on the garage but did change the screws to larger lag bolts. My reception is better than I hoped with very clear pictures. I changed the screws for lag bolts because roofing materials are not terribly strong, I opted to use pieces of 2x4 beneath the roof and put lag bolts through the shingles, roofing and into the 2x4. Then I used silicone to prevent possible leaks.

150 mile range is a huge exaggeration, mounted it on top of house with no obstructions and could barely get 60 miles
