Crowd Pleasers Ballroom Dancing Puzzle 1000 Pieces Jigsaw Puzzle by Jan Van Haasteren

I bought this puzzle because the image was created by a well known European artist Jan van Haasteren. The puzzles by that artist are usually made by Jumbo Co. in Netherland and are very good quality. This puzzle is made by CEACO and they don't give you any dissent picture of the image that you assemble. One picture is wrapped around 8”x 8” box and glued to the top and the four sides. This image is incomplete, big chunks of the two upper corners are missing. The other very small, 6”x 4.25”, picture of the full image is on the bottom part of the box. You need to use a magnifying glass to see the details.You need to cut through the edges of the box to take the pieces out; you don’t have the box anymore.The suggestion that written on the box ’ REUSE: Share this puzzle with a friend or donate to a local charity’ sounds ridiculous.

Don’t touch ‘Crowd Pleasers’ Puzzles unless you enjoy doing puzzles with no picture to reference. The lid has the pic wrapped around all four box sides, so portions can’t be seen. The one photo of the completed puzzle is on the back. 2 x 4 inches AND mine had an inventory sticker on top of that photo!! I will no longer buy puzzles that do not specify that a poster is included. To complete this puzzle, I peeled off the inventory sticker, took a photo w my phone, went to Kinkos and had an 8x10 photo printed. The puzzle pieces are nice, the puzzle is challenging, but who what’s to do a puzzle with no photo to reference!?

Two reasons I would never again buy this puzzle, or one made by this company: First, it is missing a piece. Just simply not here. Secondly, there is only a very small picture of the completed puzzle on the back of the small box. It makes it difficult - if not impossible - to figure out what you should be looking for. Putting this thing together filled some Coronavirus stay-at-home hours, but was far from an enjoyable activity due to those factors. A disappointing purchase at best.

I bought this puzzle few days a go and just finished it. There was no missing pieces and it looked exactly like the picture shown here. The actual picture on the back in a bit small but so as all the other puzzles from him and it did not bother me.

we enjoy Jan Van Haarsten puzzles.Usually takes us a week ( in evenings) and there are so many things to look at,it tells a story.

Love the puzzle itself but don't like the way the box wraps the picture around it. The complete picture on the back is too small. Jan Van Haaasteren makes the best puzzle pictures!

I love these puzzles but my one complaint is that the full image of the puzzle is SO hard to see! Usually there's a poster inside or at least a larger picture on the back but this packaging doesn't have that. Otherwise, it's a good puzzle, the pieces are thick and good quality.

Don't buy...it doesn't include a complete picture big enough to see. The box cover shows a small section of the puzzle. The only full photo is on the bottom of the box and it's ~3" x 4" for a 20" x 27" puzzle. It's ridiculous. Sad that such a cool image was put in the hands of this puzzle maker. I'm returning it for a quality alternative.
