Milforce Men’s 8 inch Military Tactical Boots Lightweight Combat Desert Shoes with Side Zipper, Sand

I bought these for my husband to wear at work at the Sheriff’s office. First thing this morning the zipper pops open while he is simply walking. The pull part of the zipper zips by pulling from the sole area up the leg. The zipper pulled open down near the sole/bottom of the zipper. The teeth on the zipper pulled apart from each other. He brought it over to the ladies at purchasing to fix. By the time he got home, eight hours later, it had opened again. He is able to up zipper and then zipper again to close the teeth again. Obviously it will continue to open. The little Velcro tab at the top of the boot is what keeps the boot semi closed. I gave it two stars because he says they are comfortable.

Walked down some grassy/muddy rural hills in heavy rain with these and didnt slip once. Fairly lightweight. They’re life savers if you’re going hiking or working on rougher terrain. But not good for flat smooth surfaces. Be very careful when walking on wet or greasy floors with these because they dont grip flat surfaces very well.

Very comfortable and light. Definately designed for desert wear. If is is your intention to wear wool socks with these you will want to order them a 1/2 size larger

Almost a full year later of mostly daily use they've held up phenomenally in my opinion. Laces still good, side zipper smooth as the day I got it, tread still holding up well. For the price of these I'd recommend them to ANYONE needing a pair of boots.

For the price you can’t get anything better. They run a little big but other than that they are great.
