Cam Mall WiFi Camera, Nanny Cam Wireless Security Camera Motion Detection Remote View for iPhone/Android Device Home Surveillance Video Recorder (Black)

I am new to the surveillance camera world and this is a pretty easy set up for a newbie like me. The instruction manual is pretty straight forward for guiding me through each step in the setup process. Image quality is HD and the sound is crispy clear. I attached the camera to the back of my TV stand because even though the camera itself is only half the size of my thumbnail, the battery pack for it is almost 2/3 of an iPhone plus; it needs to be hidden and supported next to a large object so that it's not so obvious and hanging on its own. The highlight of the product I think is the design of the ios app; the UI is pleasing to look at and easy to navigate through. Overall I like how mini it is. The only complaint I had with this thing is how bright the indicator lights are. Other than that, great product for its price.

I orginally bought this due to the number of reviews and the seemingly good quality. Only after did I realize the majority of the reviews are NOT for the camera mentioned. It looks like they are editing the item to keep reviews up. Doesn't seem very trust worthy to me.Now to the actual item, which is the "WiFi Camera, Nanny Cam Wireless Security Camera Motion Detection Remote View for iPhone/Android Device Home Surveillance Video Recorder" in case they change the item again. I got the first one in and my phone was unable to connect. So I ordered a replacement, the replacement came in today and the box had a "QC Passed" sticker on it, which I found ironic considering this one wouldn't connect either. Tried to reach out to CamMall but they said before they could help me they needed me to send pictures of the item. Not quite sure why, but with Customer Support stating they won't help without me taking and sending pictures doesn't sound like a good start. I'll just request my refund and send these junk items back.

Does exactly what I need it to. The purpose was to catch the babysitter not watching the kids and just as I suspected I was right. It’s a good for a piece of mind lol.

Video quality is great! Easy to use! App/camera were easy to set up on Iphone 8.

I returned the first one that I received because it worked for about 2 hours before it crapped out. It recorded to the sd card, but the WiFi antenna stopped working so there was no way to view a live feed or download recorded video without removing the card and putting it in a PC. The replacement seems to be working fine (for now). The image quality is pretty impressive for the price, but it does have a an annoying flaw - the configuring of the date and time stamp. For whatever reason, it will sync fine with the selected time server, but after a while it goes out of sync. I have tried numerous servers, so i believe it is a firmware issue. Overall I am impressed with the device, and I feel like I can't really knock it too much seeing that it costs so little.Update: the replacement camera now has the same problem as the first. The wifi crapped out. These things are just not reliable.

Was very fast and easy to setup, I can view my garage when I am away via my smartphone. Has a very clear picture even with such a small camera lens and I love that it is wireless with sd card motion recording. I

I bought 3 of these to place around my home when I had to be gone for an extended time and caretakers were in my home caring for my loved ones. The camera is very small, but the signal device connected to it is larger. However, I was able to easily conceal the extra stuff using black electrical tape. As others have said, you will need to plug it in if you are leaving it for extended service as I did. I found it very easy to conceal around the TV looking out into the room. The motion detection feature can be set to send alarm to your iPhone. That was very helpful. Sometimes the signal between the router and device would be lost and so I had to hit the button repeatedly to reconnect which it did do. I'm happy with my purchase and the product served my needs well.

I've bought several nanny-type cameras. I only buy the type with SD cards because I learned that many cheap wireless cameras tap into your browser and steal data. So I only use cameras that also offer SD cards, and I avoid going wireless. Unfortunately, this is the first camera I have ever bought that will not allow me to use just the SD card without downloading the APP and setting up the SD card remotely. It is useless to me.
