Good gadget to own
I owned two old AccuGages similar to the one displayed for more than 15 years. Finally they developed leaks. So I purchased this one,...it works fine. Quality similar to the old ones. This brand is reliable and last for a long time. Good purchase so far.

Something I have wanted for a long time
Pros:- Large, easily readable display.- Seems pretty accurate though I have no calibrated gauge to which to compare it. I compared it with my 3 other tire gauges and they are in agreement.- The connector is straight, not angled, and fits into the narrow gap in my new car's hubcap to fit onto the valve.- The bleeder button is handy if you are trying to release pressure.- Gauge holds pressure for a reasonable amount of time so you don't have to read it while it is actually connected.- Doesn't use batteries.Cons:None really.Other:- The tip does not screw onto the valve stem, you just hold it there.- It does require two hands to operate but you can then hold the display at a convenient viewing angle at the same time you are attaching the tip.- You have to remember to release the gauge pressure between subsequent readings.- This is a larger unit. It isn't really glove compartment size, but I don't see how you could have these features and make it smaller.I have about 3 or 4 other gauges but wasn't sure about the accuracy, plus they are all designed with the attachment head at an angle to the gauge stem. The old gauges just don't fit into the recessed valve stem in the hubcap of my new car and I end up bleeding air and getting uncertain readings. The Accu-Gage is much easier to use and I have more confidence in the readings. I still keep a pen gauge in the glove compartment of the car for emergencies but since I fill my car tires at home I keep this much nicer and better quality gauge in my garage.I have only had this for about a month so I can't speak to longeveity but it seems solid construction.

Didn't last. However ....
I've used Accugages for years, and believe they are, at the least, very accurate. However, I own this model, sans the rubber protector, and I've had it for three years. Recently, it began leaking air from where the hose connects to the gauge. I tracked the leak and found it came from where the hose is crimped to the metal part that enters the top of the gauge. This rendered the gauge useless, as it leaks air from the tire while checking the pressure.Regardless, I just purchased another one from Amazon, hoping the new one won't also "blow" it as quickly.Edit: I got the new one yesterday, and it gauges all right, but it's supposed to hold the pressure reading until you press the button on the neck. It doesn't. The needle goes back to zero on its own. I am sending it back for a replacement. Hopefully, the issue was just a fluke. We'll see.Edit again: I just received a replacement for the new gauge (only a day after returning the one I just bought). Everything, including the pressure release, works fine. Okay, I'm happy now.

Great!
Love the attached hose--makes it so simple & efficient to use, with no leaking air from the tire! Great gauge and so easy to use. Wish I had it years ago.

Just simply great.
For many I had a pressure guage from Brookstone but thr hous finally gave out. For a long time all I could find was gauges with a 45 degree head that swivels. Those are terrible for getting a good tight fit on a valve stem. FINALLY i found this guage that has a STRAIGHT head. It is so much easier to get a proper fit on any valve stem with a straight heat that does not swivel. I actually bought 3 of these. One for each car and one for the shop. These are the best, high quality and with nice hose and a straight head. Highly recommended!

Excellent Combination of Features
I have been using this tire gauge for my car for several months now, and it has performed very well.It is a very simple design, very easy to connect to the tire valve (thanks to the hose), easy to read, and built to avoid breakage if you drop it (because of the rubber casing). In addition, it is advertised as being "not affected by changes in temperature". As a result, I have been able to store it in my car in very cold conditions (below 20 degrees F), and, to the point, it continues to give me an accurate reading of my tire pressure. My only other comment is on the cost - currently $19.95. That is certainly more expensive than some other tire gauges, but, in my opinion, a very good value given the above features.

Dead 1 year and 4 days after purchase
It was wonderful while it lasted. I used it maybe once every 60 days on my two cars before it died.
