Bought this to replace a faulty drain pump on my Whirlpool washing machine. It was easy to install. Tip the washer on its front, remove 1 plug, two hose clamps, and 3 screws and voila!! Out with the old, in with the new. Now the pump I am replacing was one of these inexpensive pumps, from a different vendor... but when I looked at this new pump it was exactly the same, even had the same sticker on it. The old pump lasted me exactly 23 months. Hopefully I can get that some longevity out of this one, but we'll see. I'll update this review if it dies on me. for $25-ish dollars, I'll take the risk over paying 5 times that for a genuine "Whirlpool" pump.

Installed just like oem works fine 15 min fix if you tip the washer forward you can get to it from the bottom without removing the back panel

Great value. Looks very durable compared to the pump I replaced. Fit perfectly. Only problem...the electrical connector would not connect. I had to create my own connector. Then it worked great!

My Maytag Bravos washing machine destroys drain pumps. The one I bought from Blue Stars, LLC appears to be much higher quality than the other aftermarket pumps that Ive owned.Immediately I noticed that the pump is heavier. I also noticed that the plastic housing is better. The outlet tube is barbed, as seen in the listing photo. That is a good sign. The plastic is thicker, too.Installation was straight forward and no modifications were needed. The cover for the wiring compartment snaps into place securely, too.This pump empties the washing machine faster than the others that I've tried. It pretty much matches the expensive OEM pump. It tuns smoothly and it is quiet! Very Quiet!I expect this pump will outlast the washing machine. If it doesn't, Blue Stars has a lifetime warranty on it. Cant' beat that, especially at this competitive price.

It was easy enough to install. It lasted almost 6 months. The one it replaced lasted 10 years. I tried to see about it getting covered by warrant but got no response. I sourced a new pump locally for $85. My clothes never smelled clean after I installed the pump I purchased from Amazon. My clothes now smell clean again after installing my locally sourced pump. That means the other pump never worked correctly. The new pump was much heavier than this one. These pumps are not built like the OEM, much cheaper. I took this one apart, it has a cheaply made 3 blade impeller vs the heavy 4 blade the original pump had. Don’t waste your money on this junk. It is cheaper by far, but they don’t last.

My ~15 year old Kenmore Elite top load washer displayed error code LD and I could hear a buzzing sound. After some minor troubleshooting I confirmed the drain pump was the culprit and searched Amazon for the part number.There are dozens of pumps in this price range (the cheap tier), a few that are 3-4 times the cost (medium tier) that appear identical to the cheap tier except for differences in the ad that seem intended to make shoppers think they’re OEM parts, and maybe a couple that appear to be an OEM part with the 6X price to go along.All of the cheap and medium tier pumps have similar issues noted in reviews- mostly short service life before failure and increased noise over the original pump. I didn’t seriously consider the supposedly OEM pumps because of price.I chose this option because of the fast delivery estimate. It arrived, and before installing I compared it with my original pump. It’s identical in every discernible way, and there were no issues with the installation. I ran the washer when I finished, and everything worked as it should with no leaks, no error codes, and no difference in noise level.It’s a winner so far!

After replacing and running rinse, drain, spin cycle noticed that pump was leaking water from the seam where the mounting base and the pump are screwed together. It will be a matter of time before the water will rust the motor portion and the pump will discontinue working. This happened to the previous pump that I took off, completely rusted. Am not sure if I bought the previous pump from BlueStar or not, will have to check back orders. Will update when I check. Checked the hoses and no water was seeping beyond the clamps. Disappointed to say the least. Will see how BlueStar responds.After ordering replacement, repositioned drain hose clamp & let the wife run a couple of loads of wash. Had paper towels under the pump from previous install to catch water runoff but to my dismay, the paper towels were dry. So I am to assume that it was my fault for not positioning the drain hose clamp properly. Have run about 10 loads through the washer with no leakage from pump. Am apologizing for the bad review & changing it to 5 stars. The previous pump was not bought through BlueStar & it was probably my fault that time also that it leaked.

If you have the room to set the washer on it's front this is an easy fix. The pump doesn't work with the same connector my machine has so I made up an adapter wire so I wouldn't have to cut off the machine's connector in case them pump doesn't last and I decide to go back to the OEM pump.

Nice pump, good price, but had to return it because of a leak between pump body and motor housing. Re-installed the old pump (which doesn't leak) and ordered a second pump.Update - received the replacement pump and it leaks too. Not sure what to do - will remove it to check if fasteners connecting pump body to motor assembly are tight. At this price, might just take it apart & check seals. NB - the first pump I got was extremely noisy. The second one is much quieter when it runs.Update - ordered a third pump from another supplier through Amazon, and left the second one in place. But before it arrived I needed to do a wash. I actually ran three full loads through the washer and not one drop of water leaked out. Don't know why, but the leak at the pump seems to have cured itself. (Maybe the seals were dried out?) I've updated the ratings because all seems well now. Plan to keep the third pump anyways, just in case.

La pompe fait son travail efficacement mais est beaucoup plus bruyante que la pièce d’origine .Est-ce que la fiabilité sera au rendez-vous … difficile à dire !Le très bas prix de vente mérite d’en faire l’essai et d’espérer que la durabilité annoncée soit au rendez-vous , après tout on finira par s’habituer au bruit si la pompe dure longtemps.

Remplace parfaitement la pièce d’origine de ma laveuse whirlpool cabrio.
