This is an original USA made Schrade PH1 fixed blade knife sheath. Schrade produced these at the Ellenville NY factory prior to closing in 2004. The leather is oiled and has been in storage until now. Great fit for a loveless style knife or similar style with blade up to 3 5/8" long

Way over oiled
Nice sheath but way over oiled. I recieved the package, opened it and right away noticed the paper recipe was covered with oil so I set the sheath on a clean dry piece of cardboard 30 minutes later two 2" diameter oil spots on cardboard. About a month to dry out before use should do it. Very nice sheath though my Schrade 144UH looks great in it.

Great basic sheath...
This is a great basic knife sheath that I use for several of my fixed blades. A bit pricey thou.
