Diamond Select ToysStar Trek: The Original Series: Enterprise Minimate Vehicle

Style looks great. Plastic seem like its ok quality but the construction accuracy is a little too tight so some piece don't fit cleanly together. The saucer section was SOOOOO hard to connect to the lower part. I felt like I was going to break it. The engines were also hard to insert. One engine doesn't fit that cleanly but you wouldn't notice unless you look very closely. The interior of "engineering section" is just the exposed interior as is the interior of the bridge. It came with two sets of nice sticker sheets for the bridge area. The design and look is perfect for a kids toy, the build leaves some to be desired for.UPDATE - Dec 2016 - 2 years later: We got this right before we had our first kid. He watched plenty of Star Trek in the womb. Knowing this model isn't the most solid toy for a child we waited till he was a year/year and half before we let him play with the ship (we put the small pieces away). Our son is quite careful with toys, not a brute like most. He quickly learned to remove the nacelles (carefully I might add). They became much easier to build. The down side is one of the two pegs on a nacelle broke so it doesn't really snap but it does stay in. It could easily be secured with super glue. Clearly this wasn't designed for playing with but considering it came with a stand I think its clear its more of a Model. We still love the ship and continue to let our son play with it but its build quality leaves something to be desired. I would probably give it 3.5 stars given its mostly stood up to toddler play. Mostly.

very nice display piece thats about all its good for my nephew wanted to play with it and Kirk's foot broke and had to be glued back on so they are definitely not made for play and unfortunately that is the reason I bought these to be able to play with him with them so if getting for a play toy would not recommend but as a collectors item definitely would.

Opened up the shipping box and before I even took out the item, I could see the item package had major card backing bends, creasing. Bubble coming loose from backing card and all four corners of item package, backing are heavy frayed heavily. Now I know why I still purchase items on the other major auction site.This item was to be graded it would be a 6. No where in the item description did it list the package damage. I paid $24.00 for this item. It was only worth $15.00

Got 3 versions of this will get the fourth soon, They are hard to put together ( but got it figure out), but are solid once you do, they are toys but as a collector I love them. Got Mirror, Mirror, the cage and TOS version

Love it. It was a little difficult as someone mentioned in a review about attaching the saucer section. Really thought it would break before I could attach it. No issues with the nacelles. Overall great collectible.

A wonderful replica of the original Enterprise for a child newly introduced to the Star Trek series. So fortunate to have found it. Thanks.

This ship will fit most mini mates figures. you put one on the bridge and one behind the defecltor dish.
