The quality of the black board was great, the surface, the thickness, the texture and perfectly stick to the fridge.The pen looks childish and cheap in comparison, the magnet in the cap is very weak and would fall at any door opening. Also be careful when wiping writing, the board clean perfectly with a wet paper towel, but do not go past the board, your fridge may not be as easy to clean the ink, especially if it is white.Sadly, my wife did not like to have a writable thing on the fridge, so i just ended to give it away at work.

I put this on the freezer that's in my dimly lit garage and the writing resulting from the included markers doesn't show up well. I assume it would show up better if the board were white.

It's easy to write on. The magnet is strong. I was expecting to have some difficulty keeping it on my fridge, but it's great!
