Snack Cup 16 OZ Green

We ordered this product after the Snack Trap failed us miserably. The fatal flaw on that product is the lid. Our year-old son was very easily able to pop it off and discard it (and most of the contents) onto the street.DESIGNThe Munchie Mug has a screw top lid that can't be pried off by little hands. The stretchy fabric is perfect for getting food out when wanted but keeping it in when the Mug is tossed, dropped, thrown, turned upside down and flung around. The handle is great for holding onto. The canister is semi-transparent (not clear from the photos) so you can get an idea how much is left in it.CLEANINGSuper easy to clean -- very few nooks and cranies to get food stuff stuck in. And while it's dishwasher safe, a quick rinse and wipe down leaves it pristine. They chose quality materials all around.SIZEIt's a bit large as others have mentioned, so it doesn't find in diaper bags, etc., as easily. However, I've found the size to be a benefit. It holds significantly more, it's easier for our son to carry, and it's easier to spot when it's about to be left behind.COMPLAINTS?The Mug comes with a screw on lid for keeping food a little more protected when the Mug isn't in use. It requires the usage top to be take off and replaced by the lid. We never use it and, in fact, it's buried in some drawer never to be seen from again. Would have been great if it screwed onto the top of the usage top.Our son grabs a whole handful of puffs (or similar) when he's using the Mug, more so than he did with Snack Trap. This results in several getting lost along the way to his mouth. This behavior and not really a flaw of the product. I imagine because he can't see what he's grabbing, he just grabs when he can instead of selecting.PRICEWorth it. Quality is significantly better than cheaper products and in use it's not contest.

Really great snack cup! It really made a difference for us. I have a 16 month old who was pulling the lids off other snack cups and creating a huge mess and disappointment when he was out of smacks. With this mug I do not have a crazy mess to deal with or "arguments" with my toddler now. He loves it! It is expensive but worth it! Highly recommend this!2 things though....the cup is really large as compared to other snack cups. It is more difficult to throw in my purse or bag when we go out. I also think it is really unattractive. I prefer modern styles and the fish are just a bit tacky to me. I can live with the size, the design is just eh....

This munchie mug was great, as long as it worked, which was only 2 weeks. As another person had posted, mine has a crack in it. Not sure if because it was dropped by my toddler too much (really, common, what doesn't get dropped? And shouldn't it be better material for a TODDLER? Stronger material, ect?)Disapointed for how much I spent! Worked well as a food cup, did not spill as much, so I would give it 4 stars for that part, but not for quality.

The blue fabrics looks dirty after a while. It depends on what snacks you put in because they may just stick their hand in there and take a handful of cherrios out and throw them. Just deal with the mess they will make it not matter what. It took my daughter a bit to get the hang of it. I didn't use it but a handful of times. This was the only snack cup I have bought so I have nothing to compare it to. But I sure won't buy any other one again. I will just pick up after her.

I bought this cup because I thought it would prevent snacks from falling out of the cup. My son loves eating Cheerios and the other snack cups he has leaves trails of Cheerios everywhere he goes. The Munchie Mug is really good at preventing tons of Cheerios to fall out, but I still see some fall out here and there. I was a little disappointed because I was expecting it to work better. I think the price is too high for what it actually does.

Out of all the snack cups I've purchased for my 20 month old son, this is by far THE BEST! It holds alot of food, is cute, comes with a twist cap so the food doesn't go stale, and best of all ,secures the food inside. The top where your hand goes inside to get the food is made of fabric so it's soft and it's tight so no food falls out. With other snack cups my son tended to stick his hand in and turn the cup upside down and shake it to get the crackers out. You can't do that as easily with this cup. He has to grab the food and pull it out instead.

Update*****My son is now 1 year and I am using the cup with him. He actually likes it better than my daughter. The appeal of the cup doesn't last tooo long (my now 2.5 year old does not get to enthused by it). The cup has worn well. The hardest part is remembering where the kids left it and where can I find it so that I can use it!I just bought this for my 17 month old daughter. SO far, so good! THe cup has a stretchy fabric top which overlaps to keep the snack inside. We are using the traditional cheerios and it is keeping the cereal from falling out. I am beginning to think that my daughter actually received a lot of enjoyment from dumping them out on the floor, so she is a bit put off by a lid that isn't allowing her to do that! I am a little worried about washing the fabric and how long it will take to try, but probably won't be a problem. All in all, cool product and will definitely do what it is intended to do!
