PowRyte 3-Inch Air Cut-Off Tool with Cut Off Wheel

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. If they don’t think this thing has power it’s because they are running it on too small of a compressor. Air tools like this are air hogs. I’m not sure what the minimum you can get by with is but I am running mine on a 15.4 CFM Quincy 60 gallon and it screams. I can’t imagine it working any better to be honest. Never bogs down. Looks a little cheaply made but that is to be expected for the price. (Which is unbeatable)

At 1st, I was really disappointed. The box contained the tool, An allen key & a little wrench for installing the wheel. But NO WHEEL as in the description. Then I noticed there was a fair amount of run-out to the shaft & the disc clamping bolt was off center. I figured this thing was going to vibrate like heck & be unsafe. I had some 3" discs with the right arbor size so I put one on & installed a quick disconnect fitting. Before I started return proceedings, i wanted to test it. Actually, for a $10 tool, it's not bad at all. In actual use, it doesn't vibrate at all. I can't see any disc wobble, but the cut is kind of sloppy. At a steady 80 psi, it has enough power to keep grinding as long as you don't push down too hard. This tool is fine for a home DIY type but would never work in a shop.

used it to cut off some rebar did a good job. easy to use and well made, don't forget to oil before and during use.I have a 7 gallon 6cfm with 3/8 hose compressor. use googles and ear muffs.

Don’t waste your money I bought this for a quick job it didn’t cut through the sheet metal. I have a 800 dollar air compressor so that’s not the issue. This thing was terrible I bet harbor freight would be a better option

I bought this cutoff tool and finally got a chance to use it and it doesn't work. Connected it to 90PSI air hose pulled the trigger and as soon as I touched the 16 GA sheet metal it would quit. I grabber the wheel with my fingers, pulled the trigger and it would spin. Now I am past the return date and left with a tool that never worked. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

In the past, I would buy a 4pak of Dremel replacement wheels for my cutoff tool. These are a better price per each, less flimsy and a good metal mount in the center for durability unlike the Dremel brand. I used them to cut 1/8" aluminum stock and 1/16 square metal tubing. Cut smooth and fast like it wasn't even there. With a 25pak, I will get a lot done. Highly recommend. Be sure to double check the center hole size to make sure it will work for your tool.

May not have quite the RPM as some super duper high end ones but for the price it is unbeatable... Looks and performs identicle to units that are 10 times as expensive. Don’t waste your money on the tool truck.

Price dictated this for me as it was a total impulse buy. For 10 bucks I couldn’t say no and I don’t regret buying it. This pneumatic cut off wheel is rough around the edges but works great. At that low price the cutter is a wonderful value for the money
