The Noisy Book

Teaches your child how to speak
I swear this book taught my children how to make sounds that turned into words. This is my second time buying this book. The first one was destroyed because we read it so much. I really think this book has taught both my kids how to talk!

My Grandson's Favorite Book
I bought this book for my grandson when he was seven months old. He has loved it ever since, and it's still his favorite, most requested book.Hand drawn pictures of everyday items and the sounds that they make, and enough of them to keep him very interested. Not a standard board book, but made with stiffened paper, so that there are many items, and the pages don't tear.I've bought this for many other babies, it's one of my favorite gifts for little ones. At this price I can afford to give it often.I hope that your special one enjoys it as much as mine does.

Sound Up
The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for working on sounds. My child’s speech therapist recommended it. There is a silly page, with tntntntn as a sound. It is like a soft click. Move your tongue from the roof of your mouth quickly for a gentle popping/clicking sound, but do not use your vocal cords. Watch the video for an example.

Would recommend for any baby registry or early child educator!
Amazing and vibrant illustrations and simple concepts are made so fun by this author! As a speech therapist, I find this book to be a wonderful tool for building language foundations, for improving utterance elaboration and imagination. My daughter loves this book so much that we are now duct taping the bindings (only from re-reading, she handles her books with care)! I'm amazed how quickly reading this book also helped my daughter to connect with her own environment. She has generalized so many items in the book to real life. Now that she's a little older (19 mo), she can also "read" it to me, and we have a blast imitating actions related to the animals and the other objects in this book. I have purchased this book for gifts for many friends and will continue to do so!

A favorite for sure
Our kid has read this book so many times that it is worn and falling apart. It has so many pages, so it is understandable that they can't be as thick and durable as many board books. The pages are relatively durable, but I have had to glue the book back together a few times, as our toddler is really tough on books and we have read it so many times. We love to buy this book as a baby gift for others. Seems a bit pricey at first, but it is truly worth every penny.

We love this book
We love this book. It was given to our child as a gift at about 6months old and it’s still a favorite a year and a half later. My only negative would be that it does tend to fall apart easily. As it’s so thick and infants are rough. We have gone through about 3 of them. A friend of ours actually punched holes in a corner of each of the pages once theirs fell apart and used a ring clip to keep it together. Something I will try next time.

Our favorite sound book!
We checked this book out at the library and my daughter loved it so much that I ended up buying her a copy. I've also purchased this book as gifts for 1st birthday parties. The pictures are cute, and there are tons of them. It also has sounds for items that are not as commonly found (who knew what sound a rabbit made). My daughter particularly loves the page with the power outlet (it says "no"). It was useful for teaching her to stay away from power outlets. I just remind her about The Noisy Book. This has been one of our favorite books, and I'm sure other children would enjoy it, particularly between the ages of 1-2.

Lots of fun for me and Max
I just ordered my second copy of The Noisy Book because my grandon Max's love for the first one broke its spine. He is nearly 18 months now and not a book destroyer--this is the only one he has loved to death. I don't know how many times I mimicked, to the best of my ability, the sounds made by the animals, vehicles, bells, etc. on each page. Some of them were sweet and subtle: a picture of mommy and the sound "kiss kiss." Max tolerated my sounds and loved the pictures. His broken book has frustrated him, and we'll both be happy when the new one arrives.

Great fun!
This was for my grandsons aged between 12 months and 4. They all love it mainly because the 4 year old ‘reads’ it to them and makes all the noises really loudly!

Charming !
We bought this for my niece when she was little and she loved it. We’ve now bought it for our 1 year old son and he loves it too! He’s started to copy some of the noises .

Best baby book ever!
This is by far my 11 month old daughter's favourite book, and has been since she was 6 months old. She knows how to say many of the noises now, and it's really helped her develop her speaking. We bring this book everywhere with us because it's the only thing that will calm her down when we're out and about and she is restless. People in public have commented on how amazed they are that she'll sit in a cafe and quietly read this book over and over again. Our first copy has been truly battered from constant use and we had no hesitation in buying a second copy. Thank you to the author for this amazing book!
