Dmso: Nature's Healer Kindle Edition

I ordered this for a friend. He seemed very happy with it.

I got the book after I got the DMSO, which I found out about via a Jenny McCarthay book where she mentioned some "Mother Warrior" used it to help her autistic kid. I found an article on the net that said vitamin B12 and folic acid could be dissolved in DMSO and then applied to the skin for good absorption to cure anemia, and another article on how DMSO can cure colitis and I was hooked.This book doesn't mention either of those treatmens using DMSO and there are a lot more exciting possibilities like using DMSO to get GABA supplements across the blood brain barrier that it doesn't touch, but the information in it is fascinating. I read the book in a day, couldn't put it down. It was very clear for a medical layman.Basically it's a summary of a lot of research done on DMSO with a section in the beginning on what it is and how they think it works on the body. Some of the research summarized that I found interesting are the use of it within 90 min of a spinal cord injury preventing paralysis, the way it can be used on burn victims to prevent infection, numb pain, and promote healing, and the treatment of infants with Down's Syndrome to help them reach their potential and prevent some of the genetic effects it can cause.The book also covers (briefly with no conspiracy theories) why the FDA has shut down research on this drug that was once labeled a breakthrough new medicine by them, and why doctors can't tell us about it or recommend it without fear of losing their license.I used it for a week and my ganglion cyst completely disappeared, an unexpected but welcome side-effect!

I really enjoyed reading this book, it is a hard read if you are not up to speed with medical terminology. I would recommend this for nurses and doctors who want the truth about DMSO and how to use it. Well written and chocked full of info to do more research

The book is a easy read. You can heal yourself but you have to learn how to jump through the hoops,since you have to figure out the truth. Pure Pharmaceutical Grade vs Crude Industrial Grade is yourBIGGEST challenge for this product. If you don't do your research, you can and will do more damage then good. This book was part of my research. I found it very helpful for my mother's eye problems. She doesn't want cataract surgery and will try anything. I pray this works but for now I'm glad to have this knowledge in case I hear this demon again in the future. REMEMBER THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF DMSO: Pure Pharmaceutical Grade vs. Crude Industrial Grade.

DMSO is an underutilized product that has uses almost too numerous to mention. Pretty much every condition from arthritis to sports injuries, inflammation, cancer, tinnitus, you name it, DMSO can play a strong role in healing or management. For information on the numerous uses of DMSO, read this book DMSO Nature's Healer by Morton Walker (1993), The DMSO Handbook for Doctors (2013), and The DMSO Handbook: A New Paradigm in Healthcare (2015).This book is the foundation of the start of the use of DMSO in medicine. I enjoyed for the historical information on how the FDA has to this day simply refused to accept DMSO for the true miracle it is. Some of the information is outdated, as I found out from the third book. The second book repeats much of what was published in this first more technical book and does not have much up to date information, despite being published in 2013. But it is well organized to find things and easy to read, being the least technical of the three. The last one is the most up to date having been published in 2015, but is the most technical of the three.

I heard DMSO was a remarkable substance, but had no idea how vast the applications of DMSO could be. Dr. Morton Walker has sited many medical journals and studies related to DMSO. From the Physicians Desk Reference of 1980 the editor notes: "There are no known contraindications for dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Dr. Morton says this drug has been declared to have the widest range and greatest number of therapeutic actions ever shown for any other single chemical. DMSO treatment has been used for everything from arthritis, to brain and spinal cord injuries. DMSO is an anti-inflammatory drug, and has antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral effect. Another great benefit of DMSO is it dialates blood vessels, speeding the blood flow to heal. Concerns have been historically expressed toward DMSO affecting vision, but nothing conclusive has been proven. there are sections in Morton's book devoted to cancer and an arthritic diet. A list of doctors using dimethyl sulfoxide as part of their protocol is listed at the back of the book. I ordered some DMSO to use topically for arthritic joints. I had some relief, but probably it would have better if I had made applications several times a day. This is a must-read if you have tried various protocols with limited success. After all, Morton titled his book: DMSO: Nature's healer.

To much jargon to go thru, could be less scientific for novice me.

Verloren geld, Spijtig,?wenste dat ik het begreep .Je moet universitaire studies gedaan hebben om boek te begrijpen, versta er minder dan de helft van, maar! zeker goed voor dokters en professors die gaan dit zeker heel heel interessant vinden maar die gaan mij natuurlijk niet helpen om dit alles te expliceren. Eventueel kan je natuurlijk wel raad vragen aan je arts over een bepaalde bladzijde of klein gedeelte in het boek waarvan je denkt dat het relevant is met je gezondheidsprobleem.

This is a great book for anyone who really wants to know about the product DMSO. It explains so much about this miracle product, that I just can't understand why it is not more widely used, or even something that health food stores or homeopaths tell you about. I had bought the product for a family member and had done some on-line research before buying the product, and it works miracles, on arthritis, and a frozen neck/shoulder. I highly recommend this to anyone who has any reserves about using the product DMSO. This will give you great insight to the product.
