Bedtime got easier; thanks Grandma
These are superb bedtime stories. Each come with a simple lesson and my kids are not excited by them to the point they have trouble sleeping. That was happening when we read books like Harry Potter at bedtime.

Sharing memories of days gone past
I loved all 4 that I have and now found out there are 10. I hope to find more kindle versions of books 5 to 10. It was fun reading about the past and bringing back memories of my own grandmas and things I've seen at their places.. Example getting water out of the cistern, outhouses etc. All are worth reading and sharing with our kids and grandkids as these books can be a great conversation starters to share your childhood with them. It did for me anyways. :)

What a fun legacy to pass on
i read outloud this collection of stories to my captivated family 25 years ago. My 1st granddaughter was just born so my gift to her were these same books. I was missing this one and was thrilled to find it on Amazon. What a fun legacy to pass on.

Classic book series
My 11 year old daughter loves this series. Her older sisters did, as well, around that age.

My daughter and I love it
My daughter and I love reading the Grandma’s Attic books together. There at a lot of cute stories, all encouraging making the right choices. The grandma teaches a lesson with every story.

Excellent stories that spark interest and teach valuable lessons
My eight year-old daughter has truly enjoyed reading this series. She received the first book as a birthday present and as soon as she read it, asked for the others. She even insisted that I read them so I could see how clever and interesting they are! Each story is actually a lesson about life that teaches children how to act humbly and with consideration for others. I would highly recommend these for any little girl.

Grandma's Attic series
I thoroughly enjoy Arleta Richardson's grandmother! She isn't afraid to let her foibles be known or how she learned her lessons from them as she grew up with her two brothers. These are lessons that need to be learned by all of us and it would be easier if we learned them from Mabel instead of from our own hard knocks. Very enjoyable reading - sometimes laughed so hard the tears ran down!
