Am keeping only because they were sold as a 6 pack and I had to open one up to try. This product is not like it used to be. These files used to be gentle, but got the job done. The current product is rough on both sides, hard to tell which might be the finish side. Harsh on my nails, made them rough. That said, it is at least, thin, not like the cardboard/sandpaper files out there. It will work, but I'm not pleased. I used my worn out file to smooth my nails afterward.

These are not the original Diamond Deb with actual diamond grit that lasts decades, but these are the best I have found available now. I do not know how long they last, but at this price that is not a concern.

We received our nail files today. I purchased a set of 6. The nail files are ok but right out of the box, each of the 6 cases had either a tiny tear on one of the top corners or the pointed part that's for cleaning under your finger nails had punched a whole in the bottom of the file case. I took each thin plastic case and stapled the bottom hoping they will last for a while. We've been using a Diamon Deb that we've had for more years than I can remember. It says Diamon Deb USA right on the file. It finally wore out so we bought new. The new ones say Diamon Deb - China. I guess that explains a lot. Bottom line.......these will file your nails but don't expect much from the file cases. They're very thin plastic that won't last long at all.

Do not know why these have been forgotten by a lotta folks. They are amazing. I keep one in every tool box and first aid kit. Great multi-purpose tool. Oh yeah, they're fine for nails as well. Last forever. 20 years ago I had to order from England. Couldn't find them here. Thank you Amazon!

I grew up with my Mother and sisters using this brand. So I naturally used it too. Over the years you think that something better will come out and try new things. But every time I come back to Diamon Deb. My nails are at their best when using this nail file over the others. I have tried emery boards, glass, silicon, you name it I have tried it and I am finally learning my lesson. When you find the best, be thankful stop looking. Diamon Deb is the only brand I can foresee buying.

These are without a doubt the best nail files anywhere, ever. I bought my first one when I was in high school, and I used it until it was lost in my last move -- about 30 years. The secret is the diamond dust on the business end of the file. It files gently without taking off too much nail or splitting the tips. The pointy nail cleaning end does much less damage to the underside of the nail than the usual thick, bulky file tip. You can even smooth out a nail tip without damaging you manicure. Just a really great nail file. AND at this price for a pack of six, one costs about what I paid for my first Diamon Deb.

Have used Diamond Deb nail files since the 1980’s—simply can’t use any other style of file. Quick, clean filing of nail, and pointed end efficiently cleans under the nail. Simply the best.

The picture is deceiving - The wide part at the one end looks like it has a holder, or grip, which my other file has. This just has smooth metal and is not so easy to grip. The file itself worked fine, but without the grip isn't that easy to use.
