Brodex Compatible TZ231 TZe231 TZ-231 Label Tape for Brother P-Touch Printers, Black on White, 12mm Wide x 8m Length 5 Pack

Parts arrived today,Fit into Brother label maker, made several labels, run same a OEM product. One issue that is minor but is observable is the tape color when placed on colored files or surfaces can be seen thru the tape. OEM material is not translucent while this product is lightly translucent.

Unlike some other, cheaper, Brother knockoffs I've purchased on Amazon, this label tape is removable. I've found that other brands won't come cleanly off plastic bags, some plastic Tupperware lids, or glass. This brand is pricier but worth it for the way I use label tape (labeling food portions for freezing, labeling containers and plastic bags that I will later want to change the label on).

Any generic brand that performs as well as the original at a significantly reduced price deserves praise. I am quite happy with these and use them in my shop all the time at a fraction of the price that Staples would charge me for similar label tape.

This work great with our Brother label maker. We use it to label bins in the garage, craft drawers in the house -- etc.The value is better than some of the others, and its completely compatible with our label maker.Really, once you start labeling--- you just can't stop.

I've used a bunch of these with my brother label maker. I had one fail (I took it apart and fixed, but if you're not patient don't waste your time). Because these are so inexpensive I label EVERYTHING that I think could use a label. The quality of the labels is great and don't fade. So much better than handwriting sharpie on masking tape like I used to do.

Good product and very inexpensive compared to Brother product. Some said they allow color to show through but I have not seen that yet ,on any thing I have used it for

Working so far. The adhesive feels a little less tacky than OEM tape, but it's still holding on. It'll take a long time to get through all these, but if they're all like my first cartridge, I'll be buying more like these.

Quality wise, these are as good as the name brand. The only drawback is once in a while (not very often - maybe 3 inches worth in a roll) the backing is hard to get off, (sometimes impossible), and leads to a ruined label. Doesn't happen a lot, but when it does it gets frustrating.

Compared to previous brand I bought these are not as good. The tape backing is white so it makes it harder to see the seam than the blue backing of the previous tape. The adhesive doesn't seem to be that good - the tape has started coming off some things - but weirdly it sticks to the backing more aggressively so the backing doesn't come off as easily as the last brand. Why is the backing not coming off easily a problem? With the prior bunch I could take the top half of the strip backing off and apply the label, then I just had to flex it top to bottom and the remaining back would just peel off by itself - made applying labels very easy and you never had to touch the actual adhesive.

I would order this again. Less than 1/2 price of store prices. You gotta love that.Quality is great.Thank you.
