Decomust 24 Inch Astra Sputnik Satellite Pendant Light Urchin Chandelier Plated Nickel Ceiling Light Fixture

What a gorgeous light fixture! Looks very high-end, nice quality, a real attention-getter. I have it hanging from a vaulted ceiling and it hangs fine. You see it coming up my front stairs to our main living area and it gets a "Wow" every time. That being said, here's some pointers if you're on the fence about it. A) It's HEAVY. I actually took out half the spikes since I didn't trust it above me. Once we get different bolts to hold it stronger, I'll put them back in. I'd say it's around 20 lbs. B) I used 25 watt candelabra bulbs and it's crazy bright enough. 60 watt bulbs would probably burn my retinas out so err on the side of dimmer bulbs. C) We replaced a recessed light with this light - just get an adapter first at your local Lowes or HD. It was maybe $18. D) Total time to install, not including the hour to put in spikes, but including installing the adapter was maybe 40 minutes. Estimating the length of the chain took awhile. So bottom line, it's worth it!!

It looks amazing, and is well constructed. All solid steel. My only complaint is that it's difficult to install. I followed the advice from other reviews and put the spikes on before hanging. I would advise AGAINST doing it this way. The finished light is quite heavy and because of its size, the spikes dig into your chest while trying to hang it. I had to use a towel as "body armor" to install it. It probably would have taken longer, but would have been much easier and safer to put the spikes on after the light is on the ceiling. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase though.

This is probably the most eye-catching foyer light I've ever seen and I can'tstop admiring how cool it looks! It's unique, bright, and modern. It took about 3 hours to install it start to finish. We installed the top spokes, then hung it, and installed the rest of the spokes; that worked well.

I was a little nervous because I had to put it together but it went well it wasn't difficult at all, a little timely but that was fine.

This item is beautiful after being put together. Very well made item. Looks nice whether you have the lights on, which throws out plenty of light, or without. So many compliments. Took a couple of days and patience to screw in all its tenticles as I have arthritis but well worth the time when you see how lovely it is when it's done.

Absolutely love the look of the chandelier. Shipping was a problem for it to get here. Took about 2 weeks on a prime product. You have to screw each metal spike in and some don’t fit so you must use the boring tool they send. It’s almost like putting this together twice.

This chandelier is absolutely beautiful. Best Valentine’s Day present ever from my fantastic fiancé.
