I'm strictly a thumb controller and the stock sticks on my Spektrum were just too thin and sharp. These are like perfect stick ends for me. They've got great grip, but don't feel sharp or irritating even after several hours of use. They're also wider than the stock sticks which makes a huge difference in control confidence.
