With this. All stories were cliffhangers. The first book was okay and you got to know the characters and storyline. But over all, to me it wasn't that good. Glad it was free.

Britt was so annoying. She was so unbearably indecisive. She couldn't stop thinking about Jack but then she was blatantly rude to him. She acted as if what happened between them was horrible and took it out on him. Then when she does decide to go out with him, she is really blunt and flirty. Way too bipolar for me. Had to stop reading after 33%. I liked how it started but then she just kept acting like her spending the night with him was the worst thing she had ever done in her life, she kept telling him it was a mistake and she was ashamed of her indiscretion. I have no idea why Jack would be interested in her. No wonder Kevin cheated on this hot mess.....PS The dialogue between Britt and her friend Marj seems very shallow and the back and forth banter was irritating.

I liked it but it was frustrating because it felt like when the story was really starting to go somewhere it ended on a cliffhanger. Otherwise liked the story.

Sadly I can only give this book a 3 star rating, not that the story is bad, or poorly written, though there were times that it simply did not make a lot of sense, no my issue is that this was a free book, however, to get the entire story you had to buy 2 other books @ $2.99 each. so this "free" book cost $5.98 to read the entire book. It is not as if each book is a complete story that could either end there or go on, no it is just the next section of the same book, it doesn't miss a beat, just picks up as if you were turning a page almost. The sections are very short, about 100 pages each. So it would have been a good book, around 300 pages, or a little over, and if they did not want to offer it for free, that would have been OK as well. However, to offer the first 3rd for free, then charge for the next 2/3rds is a bummer. I have gotten into this before, thank goodness it was only 3 sections, not 5 like before. But at $2.99 per section, it still cost about the same. I can afford to pay $6.00 for a book, that is not the issue, just that I hate to be charged for something that was presented as free.

I loved reading The Boss's Son(My Office Romance Book 1), all about Britt a twenty-eight year old Accountant. She was meeting her boyfriend Kevin for dinner and they would be talking about going to look for an apartment they could both live in. However instead of talking apartments, he broke up with her instead. A gentleman at the bar sent her a margarita, she went over and thanked him, his name is Jack and she invited him to gave dinner with her, and he excepted. They hit it off and talked for hours, then they slept together, and he stayed over. Talk about ackward, but eventually he left and then they took a cab to pick up their cars! The author wrote a unique story and the characters made the story cone to life! Read about Britt & Jack and see where things go! It was a page turner and I can't wait to read story 2 & 3!

The story was good.I was pleased it was a full size novel for a first book.When I got to around 50% through the read, it ended and began another book sample., entirely different book.Little disappointed in that. Maybe if the sample would have been on the part two of the same series I wouldn't be so let down.I'll try a sample of book two first. See how enthralled I am before purchasing.I'm only knocking one star off for the deceiving on the page count.Other than that, the story itself was good.G.V. I did like the story, I like how hot and steamy the characters got up front and how they shared their feelings and didn't drag on, but the were some grammatical errors that could have been prevented, also the chapters ere choppy and did not break up with flow. When there was dialogue it was hard to follow because of how it was written. There wasn't a lot of action in the dialogue so it was like reading a readers theather where people just stand up and read. When the dialogue started you lost the vision of where they were and what they were doing and sometimes lost who was speaking.

I wanted so much to enjoy this book after reading the reviews, however, sadly this book was not for me. I found the storyline quite dull and long-winded, but stuck with it hoping it would be a bit more interesting...it wasn't. As book one was free, try it out you may enjoy the read, if not, no worries you haven't lost out on anything 😊
