D-Lead Deluxe Whole Body Wash & Shampoo (32 oz)

I use this after every trip to the shooting range before I give my 6 year old daughter a hug! It smells great and seems to function like any other soap...I sure hope it removes lead as advertised!

This product is great removes fine metal particles from skin easily, I wish I dad discovered this years ago

When this arrived, I took one look at the label and almost sent it back. The product claims to be a "deluxe whole body wash and shampoo", which implies that it is safe for cleaning your hair and face, which are the purposes for which I bought it. However, the label specifically states, "Avoid contact with eyes. In case of eye contact, flush with water for several minutes, ....". If you want to risk using a shampoo and body wash that you cannot get in your eyes, this might be a good product for you. Otherwise, I would avoid it. I'm assuming most people would want to use this the same way they would use any other "body wash and shampoo", so I gave it one star. In the end, I decided not to send back the product -- but I'll be using it only to wash my hands.

artificial color, why...just stop. Deluxe is a false advertisement on this stuff. It may work as described but it is filled with un-needed chemicals (artificial fragrances/colors/and more) that do nothing but poison your body and the world.

Using this in the shower after the shooting range and I just feel better about my lead management. I start top to bottom with the lukewarm water, but not hot. No cold showers for me even if thats ideal for lead removal. Works well on my hair, face (it will hurt if you get it in your eyes so be careful and keep your eyes extra shut tight) and body. It has a good consistency and is about the right amount of soap suds/lather to feel like you are washing without using an excessive amount of body wash. It does leave a bit of soap smell after rinsing, so after using this I wash with regular shampoo/conditioner and my regular bath soap (the second wash is with nice hot water). On this second wash I also use baby shampoo on my face and eyelids just to get any residual off. Overall no issues and I'm glad that I'm using a product designed to get the lead off. My range clothing goes right into the washer with the d-lead laundry detergent. Its just good to know I'm no longer spreading lead in my house. I had no idea until I researched it. Overall good product and if you work with lead, you should minimize the amount you bring back into your house.

I use this after working as a Range Safety Officer, cleans well but does dry out my skin. After I use this I use my normal soap and conditioner.
