Durable, stylish, more spacious than it looks
I was going back and forth over the price on this, but knew I would use it a lot and figured I'd pay more money for something I felt would last a long while and get a ton of use. I commute daily by train. I really couldn't be happier. It is smaller in size than my old backpack, the larger model Swissgear I got a Target. That worked well, lasted about two years before it started to come apart. It was more designed for travel, though, and I did use it a lot for that. So can't really complain. When I started using it for work it just felt too big and was never really comfortable with it.But I digress. This Samsonite has way more room in it than I expected. It's seriously cavernous. Sometimes, I'll need to crawl inside and poke around to find something smaller I may have put in there. (I jest, but love the spaciousness) The nice thing is that the front zips all the way down on both sides, so it basically opens up for you making it really easy to get things in and out. It fits my laptop beautifully, I can pack my lunch in there, has a clip for my keys, pockets for my business cards, and stands upright when I set it down. Sometimes I'll throw my kid in there and carry them around. He's a teenager. (again, I jest)And it has plenty pockets for phones, chargers, and a padded glasses pocket. If pockets in backpacks are like cupholders in cars, this is the Premium package. I use them all the time and really like the glasses pocket. I put my prescription glasses and sunglasses in there, they fit nice. I just keep my prescription glasses in a cloth bag to prevent scratching. The handle on the top is, well, handy. Makes picking it up a breeze and when I'm on a crowded train, I can take it off my back and hold it down so I'm not knocking over the people around me. (pet peeve of mine, people who leave their backpacks on and forget that it adds about a foot to their back and they are oblivious to the fact they are basically hitting people every time they turn).Again, I digress. This thing is durable, I'll use it for travel, too, ad it's the perfect commuter backpack for me. Samsonite does it again!

My middle schooler loves this backpack!
My son uses this backpack for school, and it has proven to be extremely durable and of excellent quality. The zippers are sturdy, and we found it to be a much better value compared to the more expensive options at Target and other stores. My son loves the size, with plenty of compartments for organization, and it securely holds his computer in the tech compartment. The iron grey color is a hit, and even with all his books and supplies, the backpack remains comfortable thanks to the strong shoulder and back support. Highly recommended!

Great backpack but there are a few things to know
I wanted a backpack for flying that had a ton of pockets but still slid under the seat in front of me. I did so much research and got this. This is a great backpack but there are some cons:Pros: love the strap on back that allows you to slide it onto the extended handle of your carryon bag.many pockets all secured with zippersdurablededicated laptop compartment is greatdivided large compartmentholds lots of stuffCons: so heavy when emptyNo real water bottle compartment. There is one that is probably intended for an umbrella. I put my 20 oz. Camelbak in it but I cannot zip it so the water bottle falls out.The zippers on the two largest compartments zip ALL THE WAY down to the bottom - not sure why we would want that feature - so the effect is that if you have something heavy in there (like groceries) and you do not lock the zippers together, the weight of your contents will cause the zippers to slowly slip down without you knowing, and the backpack can open, until you hear your items falling out of your backpack.
