This stuff works great. Sticks to whatever it touches. Including you. Lol I have used it for sealing the fasteners on my metal roof. No leaks now.

This stuff is fantastic. We had multiple water leaks on our 12-year old metal roof. Lots of damage. The old caulk had cracked. We were told by a contractor friend to use lexel and it would never leak. We had to put it over the old caulk. Hopefully, we will have no more leaks. Time will tell, but so far, we are impressed. Another friend told us he had used it to repair a hole in his boat. Hope it is as good as everyone tells us.

I started using Lexel 10 years ago. I first used it on a window that had a large crack in it. I was restoring the home and didn't want to repair that window yet, so used this on the three foot crack. I put a bead on the inside and outside. Well it was 8 years later that I finally got to that window to restore. The Lexel held up for the 8 years, never yellowed (was on south side window) cracked or got brittle. I use it on everything from caulking seams to well glass repair. It is paintable and holds paint well. It is worth the price.

OK, if it's so good, why one star off?This stuff can go anywhere, metal roof with blazing sun, no problem. When it's wet out, no problem.The bad?...if you don't have a perfectly flat applied bead surface it reflects light quite aggressively and is eye catching. Just flatten it out with your finger?...well, if you don't do it immediately it gets too sticky and makes a total mess. I did some large windows with it, the inner window to brick mold, and I had to do about a foot, then use my finger, then repeat. It gets tacky soo quickly it's a bit difficult to get smooth. When I don't smooth it, it looks quite eye catching with different light glimmers the length of the window.Otherwise, I use this everywhere. It is a one caulk for all solution.It's paintable (yep, clear silicone is not)It doesn't absorb water! (I'm looking at you DAP clear)Get it, but be aware of the need to work fast.There are some clear general construction caulks that are about the same, but this is my favorite at the moment.

I used this before when I worked in the maint dept., so when I bought my house and needed to take care of some other issues, I knew which brand of caulk to use. It's great stuff and lasts forever without breakage. Definitely have to wear some latex gloves though because it is very sticky. The fumes are strong....highly recommend a dust mask be used while applying. It's a excellent product!

Supposedly shipped my item never got it and then when I reach out they told me the seller said it got damaged and was sending another one out and now they refunded me and said was out of stock

I likely have a lifetime amount, but then I have a friend that used that amount in two days on one project that I'm in the process The left over tubes if any will go about the house and reseal as needed. Many friends in a group have given high praised this brand.
