Last year I broke my ankle and had screws and plates surgically added to repair the break, which meant my ankle was swollen all the time. I have a very shallow ankle and a wide calf for my body, so normal ankle supports don't fit me. This was the best compression wrap ever, and discovered it after a very desperate online search for something designed for my particular problem. I still wear it daily to help me. The Ankle BandIT is easy to wear, fits in my sports shoes...can't wear dress shoes any more...and I'm mobile. No swelling after wearing it all day, but if I don't wear it, the swelling is there. The Ankle BandIT, One Size Fits Most, Compression Ankle Wrap. My shoe size is a woman medium 7. I have a high instep. The ankle wrap was too large for me. Even if it did fit correctly, I will have a difficult time getting it into any of my shoes including my sneakers. I wanted a refund. Going to the Amazon's order page, it read that the product was non-refundable, which I did not see on the product's page. I contacted the sender for a refund. The sender sent me an email which only asked if I had tried Amazon. I had already tried several time to contact Amazon directly on it's website. Impossible. I kept returning to the order page. Very disappointed in Amazon and the seller, ARX Medical, Duluth GA.

I like the fact it has removable pads. It helps stabilizing the ankle bones. It gives a good compression around the ankle bones. But the problem is that after a prolonged use, my plantar hurts. So, I stopped wearing this.Now, I wear  Mueller Adjustable Ankle Support, Black, One Size  instead. It doesn't cause the plantar pain.I removed the pads from the ProBand and attached to the Mueller. It's working well.

Didn't seem to work for me but made me see a Podiatrist who did get me the right kind of brace. I'm sure this might work for others but it was not right for my condition.

My mother has rheumatoid arthritis in her feet and ankles. She uses these for support. They are easy for her to put on and take off. They are not the most supportive type of able brace but they work well for her and she has used them for years. Eventually the Velcro wears out and she has to replace them.

Worked good for a few weeks til it started coming apart at the stitching. Doesn't support all that well anymore. Expected it to last longer for how much it is. Note that it didn't last years or even months, but literally 3 weeks before it started coming apart and losing effectiveness.

Excellent product. This is my second pair. Great for flying long distances and washable.

Great help for my torn ankle tendon. I have 2 of them.
