These installed very easily, looks great and most importantly, were sturdy. Put a Grumman aluminum canoe on and it handled it superbly. Nicely surprised with the extra lock cover as well...

I put them on my ‘15 Volvo V60. Did what another suggested and cut exactly 3 inches off the back and it fit perfect. Easy install, less than Volvo OEM and sturdy. I did notice some wind noise, but it wasn’t consistent so I’ll leave 1 star off for the fact that there was some very annoying wind noise during my commute, no faster than 60mph. Aside from that, dig the look and can’t wait to put boards on it!

These were really easy to install. They look great.

Gave it 4 stars as it did it’s job, however the cost savings is shown in the level of security the bars provide your roof bag or box. Meaning: it was easy to install, it did not whistle while driving (up to 80mph, unloaded) however once installed there was still some wiggling with the bars because it’s a universal design. The latch side is secure under the lip of the stock roof rails, but it’s not flush. This allows the bar to be “twisted/moved” after installed. (And tightened as far as I think it could allow)All above said, I put a bunch of beach crap in a soft roof bag and drove 500 miles with this thing on my roof. I adjusted the bag straps once (not rail related) and Didn’t have any problems with this product.For part time use I’d recommend these. I’ll be taking them off once we get home. Taking off both bars will take a total of 5 minutes...including finding a spot in the garage for them.

Update: REDUCED TO 1 STAR!The product seemed fine and the bars do work, but the locks on the end caps stopped functioning as I tried to put these on my car for the second time. Stored indoors during the winter. The key jams up and once in the lock the mechanism does not release or turn. Spent a ton of time trying to get it to work but 3 out of the 4 locks are completely defective. I ended up drilling holes in the plastic to allow an Allen key in to tighten them down. I'm not worried about theft but it's ridiculous to offer such cheap and defective locks on the end caps. My advice if you buy this is to drill holes as you see in my photo and do not try to take the end caps on and off.Original Review: Fit my 2018 HRV EXL perfectly. Very solid, very easy to install in maybe 20 minutes, and they look decent. They do make a hum at high speed but I think all bars do that. The price is right as well - my local shop wanted 800 bucks for Thule. I can't imagine they're that many multiples higher quality and functionality. I've carried 2 kayaks on them a few times and no issues at all.

Once I realized one bar is longer for use in front, fit was very good, dah! Sunroof of panorama option can open ONLY if front rail is placed no more than 8 inches behind sunroof front and rear rail is placed at rear end of panorama roof. This means the rails can not get closer than 36 inches apart. Design and materials seem excellent and worthy of use on Mercedes. Only minor issue is the car mounted rails on this model MB are at slight angle to each other at front and the rack mounts do not compensate for this. Not a problem though. BE AWARE, most aftermarket rack rails that I looked at would not allow the sunroof to open and if it did, you could have major damage to your car. Be sure before you purchase.

Unfortunately we didn't install right away, but once we did, it was very easy to install, no issue with that. Our issue is that while driving there is just a lot of howling from the racks, this is the 3rd roof rack system we've bought from Amazon in the past several years, and the only one that has done this. It is rather loud, and very annoying, especially if on the highway.

These are also great roof racks very budget friendly, posted pics as reference for future buyers...

Excellent product! Great price! Installed on my 2017 GLC 300 in less than 20 minutes. Thank you to the other reviewers for pointing out that in order to use the moon roof, the roof rack must be placed by the front of the car. The front rail must be 8 inches from the front of the moon roof, and the back rail should be about 36 inches from the front rail.

Easy to install but the cover is a bit short and did not cover the bottom of the bar assembly.Mine is 2018 GLC300.
