Its not meaty
I like the tire but it’s not meaty as my original wrangler duratrack my trail boss came with. Those gave me 56k before being replaced. These are quieter for sure and easier to turn but I didn’t mind the other being bulker . I do get slightly better gas mileage

Nitto's do-it-all tire
Prior to this tire I had the Terra Grapplers which were not quite as good on wet pavement and snow. The Ridge Grapplers are a great tire in on dirt and off road, and in snow. They are not the best tire for wet pavement, but a significant upgrade from the Terra Grapplers for wet and snowy terrain. I have tried the 10-ply LT version and regular 4-ply versions of this tire. The LT rides a bit rough but the regular 4-ply version is pretty tame on pavement for an all terrain tire. You can't go wrong with this tire as a do-it-all tire.UPDATE: A little over two years and 30,000 miles later and I'm at around 25% tread remaining. I drive mainly an even mixture of local and highway, with some occasional dirt and gravel roads maybe once or twice a month. Hope this helps you in your decision.
