Exactly what I wanted inside an inconspicuous cover!
As someone who has loved Splatoon as a franchise, especially the art associated with it since its release, I haven't been able to get much merchandise until very recently. Since the release of the 3rd game I've been collecting the artbooks, and I only discovered this month that this book is the "unofficial" official Octo Expansion art book for Splatoon 2! As someone who has been obsessed with octolings since hearing the "inkling" of a rumor of them being playable since the first title, I adored learning about the release of Octo Expansion back in 2018. Now I finally have my hands on the art for it and I can barely contain my excitement! The book came in amazing condition and on time with its delivery and I couldn't be happier. And while the cover is unconventional and deviating away from the style of the other artbooks in the series, I absolutely adore how it looks like a magazine from Splatoon's word itself! I love how they went with that style instead as it makes it more unique and charming, just like the content of Octo Expansion that it is trying to reflect. I can't wait to flip through it for many more years to come and have it fill a nice space on the shelf with my other art books! If you're also a fan of Splatoon who loves the art of the games, or anyone else who appreciates art books in general, this is certainly a worthwhile purchase in my opinion.

Beautiful gift from the Heavens above
I was nervous when I saw the picture of this where the book came slightly torn or dented. But when It arrived it came in absolute perfect condition thanks to whoever handled it, I was thankful they handled it with care. This book is absolutely gorgeous. I love the DLC Octo expansion and when I saw the concept art, it had me so amazed. Its just a masterpiece if you love looking at the art of things. This is a MUST have.

Great Addition to My collection
It arrived on time and in good condition, although the jacket to the book somehow came loose in the box but that's probably because of the shipping people handling it. Otherwise, it's a nice addition to my video game art book collection even though it's all in Japanese

A good artbook
Great artbook, it is interesting to view the artwork for the Octo Expansion. However everything is in Japanese, so for people who have not learned the language, I would wait for an English release as you'll miss out on some of the content due to the language gap.

Cool Art Book
Kind of disappointed that the book came with a huge bend in the cover. I didn't look at the listing closely and it did not guarantee it to be new, so kind of my fault. But the art is very cool as a Splatoon fan who is obsessed with the series. I hope Nintendo will release it in English someday 🤞
