Super Comfortable Work Boots
I love Keen work boots. This is my second pair. They hold up well to a LOT of walking, grip well wet or dry, are waterproof as claimed, and insanely comfortable. These required no break in, perfect out of the box. My first pair is still hanging out as yard shoes. They look cool as well. You really can’t go wrong buying a pair of these.

A little pricey but sturdy and sooo comfortable
Truth be told, I'm not a hard-core tradesman; I'm just program manager who occasionally has to be at construction sites. So my last pair of safety shoes lasted 20 years. Well, it was time for a new pair so I did a little research looking for something that was both comfortable and rugged (as I live in Northern New England). These certainly fit the bill. The fit is great, they're built well without weighing a ton, and are comfortable enough to wear all day without fatigue or blisters. I think they also look pretty sharp too. They are a little pricey, but in this case you seem to get what you pay for. I'd recommend them.

Great Boots
These boots were comfortable out of the box but I wanted to use them a while before writing a review to see how they held up.I work in a nursery and purchased these steel toe boots after dropping a tree, stump first, onto my foot. I didn't know how much I would like them due to the weight of the steel toe. They were very comfortable out of the box and required no break-in period. I primarily work outside in central PA. I've been wearing these boots for three seasons (fall, winter, spring) of the last two years and I have no complaints. These boots are so comfortable that although they are heavy, due to the steel toe, they are the first pair of footwear that I grab when leaving the house. The only footwear that I own that are more comfortable than these boots is a pair of Keen Newport sandals which I can't wear to work.

Manufacturing Defects And Lack of Customer Service
I bought a pair of Keen steel toed hiking/work shoes nine years ago. I used them extensively, and absolutely loved them. After nine years, they were finally falling apart, so I ordered these to replace them. The good: The outside of the boots is beautiful and is well manufactured, and the sole on the bottom of the boots is comfortable right from the start, and there is tons of room in the toe box and the rest of the boots for my big, wide feet. I'm sure one could get years of great use from these boots. The bad: The top inside section of both boots was horrible. First, there was too much material used in manufacturing the inside lining of the boots so it was bunched up very badly in the toes. Second, because of the amount of material used in making the lining, there was not enough glue/stitching to hold the material to the roof of the boots, so it was not only bunched up in the toes, it was bubbled and hanging down from the roof of the boot and pressing down on the top of my toes. This would have caused blisters if I had tried to wear them for any significant amount of time.I was disappointed, but I understand that manufacturing defects happen occasionally, so I contacted Amazon to exchange them due to these manufacturing defects, and sent them back to Keen.Instead of sending a new pair of boots, someone at Keen simply tried to glue the extra material to the roof of the boots and sent them back to me hoping that I wouldn't notice. This was after waiting a full week for the replacements to arrive. At that point, I just sent the boots back to Keen and got my money back all because someone decided not to honor the replacement agreement and try to save a few bucks rather than giving actual customer service.

Exceptional Durability and Support, Yet Consider the Weight - KEEN Utility Men's Detroit Xt Review
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the KEEN Utility Men's Detroit Xt, and while the boots showcased remarkable durability and provided excellent support, I ultimately had to return them due to their notable weight and stiffness.Let's delve into the positives first. The Detroit Xt boasts KEEN's signature craftsmanship, evident in the rugged design and high-quality materials. The boots exude durability, making them a reliable choice for demanding work environments. The steel toe adds an extra layer of protection, which is crucial in various industrial settings.Support is where the Detroit Xt truly shines. The boots feature a well-designed footbed and arch support, ensuring comfort during long hours on your feet. The non-slip, oil-resistant outsole provides excellent traction on a variety of surfaces, enhancing safety and stability in the workplace. However, it's important to note that these boots are noticeably heavy, and their stiffness can be a potential concern for some users. While the weight may contribute to the boots' robustness, it can become a drawback for those seeking a lighter and more flexible option. The stiffness, while indicative of durability, may pose discomfort for those who prefer a more flexible feel in their work boots. In summary, if you prioritize durability, support, and protection in a work boot, the KEEN Utility Men's Detroit Xt is an excellent choice. However, if weight and flexibility are significant factors for you, it might be worth exploring lighter alternatives within KEEN's extensive product range. KEEN's commitment to quality is evident, and with the right fit, their work boots could be the ideal solution for a variety of work environments.
