Originally developed for runners and triathletes, iBungee laces are designed for more than just putting shoes on and taking them off quickly. iBungee laces are manufactured using an elastic material that allows them to flex with the foot, resulting in a shoe that fits more uniformly. iBungee laces are a much different concept than standard laces, which don't flex. Runners and athletes using standard laces often report foot numbness, or a feeling of the shoe slipping that can result in blistering, but these problems can be eliminated with the iBungee Stretch Laces. The iBungee Stretch Laces include a Race-Lock fastening system that allow tension on the shoes to be quickly adjusted, almost instantly. For triathletes, this saves time when transitioning into the shoes. Ultra marathon and marathon runners finally have an answer to manage foot swell that occurs naturally during distance runs. With standard laces, when foot swell occurs, the foot begins to press on the shoe and can become a painful situation requiring tying and retying of laces, costing time. With iBungee stretch laces, the elastic material provides greater flex to the shoe and is more accommodating to foot swell than standard laces. Should tension need to be adjusted, the race locks provide quick re-tensioning. Each iBungee set comes with one pair (2 laces) and two Race-Lock fasteners. It's no wonder that iBungee stretch laces are a favorite of professional athletes, the elderly, and young kids. With iBungee stretch laces, you'll never tie shoes again. Quick on, Quick off, and Quick Adjust. It's that simple!

Great laces so far.
These are GREAT!! However, when threading them through shoe loops/holes,don't tighten them down. Feed it through the bottom and match the ends. Somewhat firmly, feed it through and adjust till the ends are the same. Put your feet in and adjust while having one foot on a chair. Put your foot down and adjust accordingly. Remember, our feet swell slightly by the end of the day. Too tight and you'll have pinching and red marks on the top. Too loose, and the shoes won't fit right. Slip the clamp on, one lace end at a time. Pull it down enough to feel comfortable, but allow some expansion. Pull both ends toward the bottom of the front of the shoe. Cut about an 1" from there. Tuck ends around ankles. These do not come with zipper clamps at the end which would've had them even better. Burn the ends of the cut laces with a lighter. On the one air I have this one, I haven't had to adjust or retie since I got them 3 weeks ago. IMO, would be great for elderly and those with limited mobility issues.

Size 11 Mens needs 34-38" lace. Read on
I got 30" laces for my. Below ankle shoes. Needs to be 34" or 38". I had to skip two spots to even make 30" doable. My shoes are 11.5 to be fair and they have a chart showing what you need with their "speed loops" which they sell separately. So for my low tops they say 38" which i fully agree with if you use all shoe holes. Anyway 4 stars for not having a more obvious sizing displayed on size choice, and the lace end cap plastic is not perfect. Otherwise seems very neat.

Fantastic - I love these!
LOVE THESE! I have a tactile issue where I become a little obsessive about things like lace tightness, sand in my shoes, turned socks, etc. and very often I have to get my shoes off in a hurry or else I get really anxious. I would untie and retie my sneakers a dozen times a day as they tightened or loosened. These fix it - ZIP the shoes are off, ZIP they are on and laced up again, and they are always comfortable. They have really been a lifesaver! This particular brand (I've tried others) are sturdy and well made, and are doing a great job. Plus - people ask about them, because they are cool!

A good, sturdy, easy to install speed lace.
I have used many types of speed laces, and these will now be the only ones I put in all my shoes. I like the simplicity of them versus some other brands. The lace itself is sturdy. The clasps are tough, and overall they are just a highly functional, easy to install lace. I also like that I can get them in plain black. I don't need a lace that draws attention to itself, some other brands don't have a plain black color! So as simple as that seems that's a selling point for me!

My feet are now more comfortable
I’m happy I purchased this product. I replaced the typical shoe laces in my work boots which are about 6 inches ankle height. I had found that my feet, with regular laces, would begin to hurt since I tied my laces tight, making my shoe unable to have any flex around my foot. That’s where the bungee comes in to play. Now with these, the elasticity helps expand during normal movements, taking pressure off the tops of my feet. This is also a breeze to tighten and loosen up when taking off my boots at home. I would recommend this product highly. Does what it says and stays intact all through my shift.

Great replacement for my Keen sandals.
Used as a replacement for my Keen sandals. I purchased the 26 in, but I should probably have gone with the 24 inch as they are a bit longer than the originals. Replacement on my Keens was easy--I only used the bungee string that came with this set and just reused all the old equipment on the sandals. I had to cut the plastic ends (down to about 1/4 of an inch) on the bungee string to fit the end caps on the Keen sandals nicely, but that was all the improvising that was needed. Out with the old, in with the new.

Size depends on how you lace your shoes...
I like these stretch laces, but it took me a while to get used to them. FYI, I wear a women's size 8 and like to use the final hole on the shoe to keep my heel from slipping, and I needed to order the 42" length.

They work fine and look nice
They work fine and look nice. It took me a little while to figure out how to get the laces threaded through the lock gadget. It takes a strong grip to hold it open far enough to get the laces through (I have arthritis in my hands). I've never had this kind before. I would really have appreciated if the sales description had included the information about the lesser length needed than for regular laces. It seems very obvious once you install them, but I had not figured that when I ordered them. For those who don't know, the information on the inside of the packet says regular laces are 10 to 12 inches longer to allow for tying and for different adjustments in the shoes. I have wide feet so I think a little less difference would be my next choice, maybe 8 inches shorter than my regular size. Without that information I bought laces the same length as my regular laces and now have a giant bow there as well as the lock gadget. I'm thinking of just cutting off the excess and sealing the ends with super glue or something like that. I will buy these kind again.
