Do you have a toddler or preschooler, GET THESE!
My mom taught in elementary schools for 30+ years, and after much experience always asked that students bring in crayon 8 packs instead of the yuge mega 3,298 packs. Why? It made it easier for them to identify and learn colors. Hard to learn yellow red and blue when there's yellow green, red brown, blue green etc.She always asked that they be CRAYOLA brand. Why? Because they actually worked and didn't crack after 30 seconds, and Timmy or Suzie only had to buy one pack at the beginning of the year instead of continuously replacing it.When I worked in early childhood education, I loved the jumbo lift lid packs because all the colors were visible and easy to pick up for the students. Plus the thicker crayons lasted longer! Now they even make them in a triangular shape to encourage the kids to use a palmar grasp. Woot! Woot!Plus these come in a lift lid interior pack which is great because lift lids are getting harder and harder to find.

A+ crayons
I did not know these triangular crayons existed. I bought these based on a recommendation from a Youtuber and so glad I did. I am a Kindergarten teacher and these are perfect for my students that are struggling to hold a pencil or crayon. It has helped my students improve their fine motor skills.

Best crayons
These triangle crayons are not only super cute, but easy to hold. My 2.5 year old has a much easier time using these than the smaller round crayons. They color just as well and are now our go to crayons.

These will be great for my young grandchildren to learn to hold a pencil correctly.
I like the 3-sided design of these crayons. I think my grandchildren will really like them.

Triangle where?
I’m sure they color beautifully just as I remembered them to be. After all, they ARE a non toxic, teachers preferred quality crayon (not sponsored ). I ordered 4 packs of these bad boys for my kindergartener, who specifically needed 4 packs of “crayola 8 count triangle crayons”. Needless to say, of no ones fault but my own, we were not prepared for his first day back (in my defense I searched everywhere for these for about a week). The night before school is when we drop off the kids school supplies, so I reassure his teacher that I ordered them a week ago, they are on back order, but they are scheduled to be here around the 11th of September. I’d love to tell you I sat and waited for these crayons to come in but no… I didn’t. When the package arrived I scratched my head and thought “Great, now what did you order” (or maybe that was my husband). We opened the bag and BOOM they were crayons. It was all smiles for my 5 year old and I. There’s nothing like a new pack of high quality crayola crayons. Then I looked closely and thought?? the box was a lot smaller then one would expect, being that they are fat triangular crayon…..ummm……these aren’t triangular crayons. These aren’t triangular at all. These are standard crayons. These are BASIC! So I checked my order history thinking maybe I ordered the wrong ones. NOPE not my error (for once) Then I checked the packaging and they ARE labeled Crayola 8ct TRIANGLE crayons(4pack). I don’t know where the fault lies but it’s not on my end. Yes, this review is a bit dramatic but so is school supply shopping with an excited 5 year old who will spend a great deal of time coloring (which explains why he needed 5 packs).

For Preschool
The preschool girls have no issue using the tiny thin crayons, but the boys break those crayons just trying to hold them. I get these triangular crayons instead because the boys are less likely to break them just by holding them. Now some boy will purposely try to break crayons and crayon cannot hold up to that, but they do hold up to regular usage with our boys.
