You are not going to shoot a BlockBuster with this microphone. But that is not who it is for
As someone who has worked in the film industry for a few years now, I have come across many microphones in all shapes, sizes and price. This microphone is obviously not for me in the film industry. But I have tested it on high end recording devices to see how far one can push this microphone. As for sound quality. It isn't great. But I never expected it to sound like a £500 shotgun mic that I am so use to.The sound is just fine though for someone who is starting their film making career, YouTube vlog or even using it as a directional microphone when using their PC.The mic is on the quite side even when the gain is turned up on the switch. But this can quickly be fixed. You will need to do some quick post sound improvements like Normalisation, Noise Removal but this is somewhat normal practice now.It picks up everything as it has no shock absorbing mount and it does pick up quite a bit of sound to the side of the mic.It does include a deadcat for windy conditions which is nice.Overall. If you are starting out with a very low budget and need a directional mic for filming, vlogging or gaming, you will do quite well with this microphone if you are willing to put the extra time in.For the price it is more than what I thought it would be.DISCLAIMER. I was not paid to review this product but I have received the product for free. Above is my honest opinion from many years working in sound production and on film and TV sets.

Excellent budget mic
pros:• well priced• good material• foam padded provided• sound quality is goodcons:• comes with only 1 foampad• although sound quality is good, it can at times pick up crackly background noise. Conclusion:I would recommend this product to anyone as a budget mic for casual videographers. It does exactly what it states and does it surprisingly good. Although at times iv found it picks up a bit too much background noise. With a few adjustments on the mic settings it can resolve it, how ever if the subject is further than the mic then it can be quite difficult to hear. In those cases i would kindly tell my subjects to speak slightly louder than normal. Close range and indoors is prefect and works a treat. Overall i am happy with this product and helps me to record great audio in indoor settings. If you have a tight budget then this mic is for you.

good quality and design
the microphone came in a nice sturdy box. inside you have the microphone as pictured, a well written manual with detailed specs, a travel pouch, a high quality lead/cadmium free aaa battery and even a free deadcat for outdoors! the microphone is an all plastic casing construction which helps keep it lightweight. it has two different recording modes, an indicator led, a wire clip and a camera mount which worked perfectly with my canon. the recording quality was very good, and the wire's coiling helped make sure it wasn't a mess. i would definitely recommend this, it's a good microphone.

Decent for personal use.
Sound is decent, tried it on a friends DSLR Camera.I gave it to my friend who knows and can understand more about this area and he said overall it was okay.Do not expect to go pro or intermediate with this but is an affordable and good choice for personal projects and vlogging.

Ridiculously quiet
Connected to my PC's mic input with the mic set to +20db setting and the PC mic settings to max (+30db) and the mic almost touching my mouth, this is not a bad mic with pretty god sound quality. Move it any further away and the drop off is rapid.I didn't try it on a camera but I suspect if your subject is any further away than the end of your lens you wont hear them.I have had better results with a £4 clip on mic

What you would expect at the price.
But plasticy feels a bit fragile. Wind sock seems not to do its job.

Compact, easy to use, underperformance
Good size with accessories for wind protection and operated with a single AAA battery. Fits to the hotshoe in video or DSLR cameras. The sound is a bit tiny and needs the boost function on all the time in order to be heard.
