Fits perfectly, good quality
A very good quality cable. May be a little stiff. It fits perfectly my Sennheiser HD 599 headphones and gives a very pleasant sound.

Nice cable for Sennheiser HD558 headphones
I'm not an audiophile, but having been gifted the iFi ZEN DAC for my birthday, I was intrigued by the "balanced" output so decided to investigate further...My headphones are Sennheiser's HD558's and they have great reviews for their performance. I saw that this cable from Ablet HiFi would work with my headphones, so decided to buy it. Whilst a little pricey, it did well in terms of reviews so I went ahead.Everything sounds fantastic when connected, but my only criticism is that the cable is quite rigid and not very flexible. It also looks a bit ugly - silvery white for headphones that are black is a strange one really. I guess I could get some paracord but when you buy a cable like this, you would kinda expect it to match. I know this is clear in the images, but I just don't understand the logic - make the cable black or offer a few colour variations and this would be even better.

Decent improvement
I wanted to see if a balanced cable would improve my Sennheiser 598s. I always felt they sounded a little muffled compared to the momentum 2 over ears. This cable has helped to a certain extent which is good as I do like the 598s. This is not the huge leap that happened when I did the same for my Nighthawk carbons, but still worth the effort

Ok but very microphonic
The cable is ok but very microphonic due it it being a bit rigid, it is however a true balanced cable for the HD599's I cannot comment on any other sets as this is the one I was buying it for. For those that need to know if the 599's are balanced wired set then yes they are, they have a 4 pole 2.5mm input with separately wired connections from tip downwards it isL+ R+ L- R- and the stock cables can be re terminated at the 3.5mm end as they have 4 cores so you only need to either swap over the 3.5mm or 6.35mm to a 2.5 trrs or 4.4 trrrs to get a true balanced connection ( and save money as a new plug is way cheaper than the £25 for this cable ) obviously you need a soldering iron. I'm guessing the rest of the HD5xx range are the same, I got confirmation from Sennhieser that they are a balanced wired set and yes they do sound better on balanced. Check out the pics you'll see that the 6.35mm has 4 cores so you can achieve the true balanced connection with a 2.5 or 4.4 ( my case 4.4mm) with the extra power of balanced connection and no ground they push the headphones that little bit more and make a great set even greater and I own the Sony IER-Z1R'S plus Z7M2's and a few more over the £1000 - 2000 price range so I know quality !

Using with Sennheiser HD560S to connect via 2.5mm balanced to Fiio K3.
Bought this cable to 'unlock' the higher power output of Fiio K3's balanced output. Everything sounds great.

Absolute rubbish
This Cable it's like rebar far to stiff , rubbing on everything and microphonic . You can hear the smallest rub of cable in headphones . Stay away from that product !!!

The cable works but feels absolutely horrible
This is the most horrible feeling cable I've ever used. Unlike a lot of IEM cables that look similar, this one is made of hard plastic that is stiff and awful to handle. As a result, the cable is springy and it is also very microphonic due to the stiffness. Functionaly it works fine and since the aren't a lot of balanced cable options for these Sennheiser headphones it will have to do.
