I've owned a few pairs of Hunters over the years and I get so much wear out of them, but this is my first shorter length pair, and I have to say I love them! Not only are they a hundred times easier to get on/off than the longer length ones, but I actually think they look better on someone who doesn't have endless supermodel type legs (I'm only 5’5”). These are just perfect over a pair of skinny jeans during festival season, and for the practically everyday wet Scottish weather to. Word of warning though, if you're purchasing these as a fashion item, don't wear them in shops etc with slippy floors, as you will end up with one very sore backside! A perfect fit (as always with this brand), reasonably priced and arrived a couple days after ordering. Well pleased.

I bought my Hunter boots just under two years ago and they have proven to be comfortable and reliable. I usually wear an 8G shoe, and have a narrow heel but slightly wide feet. The fit of these boots in an 8 is perfect for me and they are comfortable for walks of several miles over varied terrain. Taking them off can involve a couple of attempts as they are quite snug in the heel but that is what makes them good to walk in. I prefer the shorter length to the regular size, as they feel less cumbersome. Overall, they are everything I look for in a wellington boot and compare very favourably with some cheaper alternatives that I have tried in the past, particularly as far as the fit is concerned. Recommended.

These wellies are great and easy to wear. They fit well around the ankle and feel secure without that awful 'welly wobble'. Would definitely recommend for women who have a larger calf and struggle with high boots. The only reason I have given a four is because they were described as gloss and they are a matte look. Makes no material difference to me, but that description should be tidied up.

I didn't see the fuss about Hunter at first. But then in a shoe store, I picked these up in Augerbine and fell in love! They are so comfy and you can tell just how sturdy they are by looking at it. Not to mention that glorious whiff of rubber that all the reviewers are raving about! Amazon knocks off a decent amount on the price too! They are really stylish, I can't wait to break them in! I'm heading to 2 huge festivals this summer, and I can guarantee that these wellies will last much longer than my cheap ones that have the heel hanging off! I will be wearing these, and showing them off, for years

I have weird, flat feet so I have to be careful when I buy shoes of any kind. I could’ve bought wellies that cost less but I didn’t want to deal with blisters or feet pain. These Hunter shoes never needed a breaking in period, they were comfortable from the get go. They do fit a tad bit large but that’s because it will accommodate thick socks. And it’s ok even without thick socks. I’m amazed!

I’ve had Hunter wellies before (a long time ago) so I thought I’d get a shortie pair for slipping on quickly to walk the dog.I’m a regular size 5 and my feet aren’t broad but I do have wider calves (hence buying a shorter pair)The fit was not good. I slipped them on without socks and they felt as though they were a perfect fit - if I was wearing them with bare feet! With a sock - even a thin one...forget it. As for the calf...the boot kind of scrunched down a centimetre or two, meaning eventually they’ll split.I’ve given them 5 stars because honestly if I’d have had a 6 or 6.5 they would have been perfect, and they’re expensive if after one walk I couldn’t wear them again. These have a sturdy, quality substance to them. They are a lovely traditional red. The Amazon suggested size would have been to big. I measured my foot, found the exact insole size matching my foot, and went up one. Perfect with a tad of room for socks if needed. Really like them.

I wore these boots entirely throughout weeks in the Alaskan wilderness. Knowing Hunter boots to be more of a “fashion/fancy” boot, I was a bit worried about how they would hold up. I am very glad to say that they held up flawlessly. These boots were taken up and down mountains, along rocky shores, treading through seaweed/seashell-covered tides, through calf-deep mud, through forests, climbed boulders, gripped well along algae-covered rocks, jumped along roots, and hiked what seems like endless miles of some of the roughest terrain I’ve been on, and not only did my feet stay completely dry, but they were the epitome of comfort! 2 others in my group were also wearing Hunter boots and I can say the exact same for them as well. We all had great success putting our Hunter boots through the ultimate test. I wore mine with the Hunter luxury shearling insoles along with a pair of merino wool socks, and the combination was astounding. My feet were always comfortable, dry, never hot, never cold, never achey, with this combination in my boot. I am normally a size 7.5, I sized up to an 8 so that I could have room with the shearling insole and wool socks and it was a perfectly comfortable fit in combination. All this said.. they also looked amazing with our hiking clothes. The height of the boot was perfect for staying comfortable in every situation. In every way, I recommend these boots!!

No me duraron mucho donde vivo llueve muy poco, un mes al año y curiosamente a los 2 años ya se les mete el agua, la suela ya se resbala, estoy muy decepcionada porque tuve otras y me duraron 5 años sin q se les metiera el agua
