This little device makes cutting thread on the fly so quick and easy! When you don't want the bulk of a pair of scissors nor the issue of non allowance on a flight this cutter comes in handy. you can string it on a necklace and wear it as a pendant without repercussions while still having your cutting tool to take with your work in progress.

I hung this cutter on a wrist strap to keep it within easy reach, but can just as easily be put on a neck lanyard. I bought a second one for my daughter-in-law since she's learning to knit and scissors can be a problem with small children around.

No good for fine needlework or thread/floss trimming. Doesn’t cut cleanly. Save your money and buy a good pair of fine-point scissors.

I purchased this because I crochet A LOT and it seems there is always yarn or thread to be trimmed. I did not expect to like this thing so much, but now it is pinned to my shirt daily!

From a nostalgic point of view love the cutter, otherwise I really have little need for it to be around my neck, well worth five stars for every imaginable reason.
